D3 ROS loot/end game better then POE

First of all I was responding to someone else.
If you have any numerical statistics on the topic of "most players have bad RNG" then please share it with us.

Also note that you should incorporate the amount of playtime, magic find they use and zones they farm.

If you cannot provide this data I have no reason to believe anything you say beyond your person experience and anecdotes.

To what exactly is that your first sentence important?

You can take a look at my previous post that was a respond to f3rret, specifically the first sentence.

Anyway, if we stop being blind or ignorant, it's clear that most of players don't get lucky in their playtime (compared to how much they get unlucky).
Sure, most of players tend to have a nice drop of 2+ ex worth in their playtime, but that's not the whole story, you have to account the unlucky things, such as failed exalting, crap map drops, failed linking/socketing/coloring, etc.

If you get all that into the account, realistically, most (and a way bigger percentage than 51%) of the players are more unlucky than they are lucky, because the whole game is made to be like that.

EDIT: Magic find is a whole story for itself, one word to indicate how awful it is: Melee.

I watched a video review which got me interested, I'll probably get it once the price drops.

The biggest selling points for me were
-The crafting: Choose which mods you want to reroll, after paying you can choose if you want to keep the new mod or leave it as it is. THIS COULD MAKE CRAFTING IN POE SO MUCH LESS FACEPALM. Especially for linking.
-The bosses: They actually drop loot. Every time I kill a rare in this game I'm glad if they even drop 3 items, let alone something that might be useful.

But the lack of depth in character variety turns me off. Make perfect fusion baby between PoE and RoS?

Just to clarify, you can re roll one and only one mod. You can do it indefinitely, but just one.

On a separate note, I've always been confused why they make ilvl known in D3.

Most = 51%+ of the players (rounded up on first percentage).

So yes, it's definitely most of the players
.

This what you wrote.

This is what it means: It means that (according to you) 51% of the players seem to think whatever.
Now, I realize that this is just what you think and you said as much too.

What I want to know is, where do you find that number? How did you measure it? Why do you have to exaggerate so much? How does it feel to be so wrong? Why are you pulling numbers out of your ass? If you hate the game so much why are you sticking around?

playing d3 ros right now its good and fun POE boring and useless junk drop and retard map grind

d3 ros kills poe

I also play D3 RoS atm and have to say it is boring. I find a legendary and I don't feel any excitement. I basically never feel any excitement when finding gear because it is so easy to find it.

In PoE when something good drops I freak out.

Please go.

Bro, I played this game like crazy from day 1 open beta was released. I have found 5 exalted orbs, one andvarius (2ex) and one maligaro gloves (2ex). Yes I was happy when they dropped but for 1+year to have like 10 ex worth of drops ?

I had about 800 exalted before I quit - all from flipping so that I can gear myself. This means that I ripped people off and made profit! Example - I bought a rare shield for 9 exalt and sold it for 45 exalt or I bought a wand for 4.5 exalt and sold it for 16 eternal - things like that. This sometimes made me feel sad for the people I bought the items from and made me feel guilty, not happy.

I once ripped someone off and he realized it - do you know how disappointed he was and how much he was begging me to return the item? This is what the drop level in the game made me do and I am being totally serious about it!!! I do not know a single person who has money and gear who has not acquired them by flipping. The others did it with RMT. No one who had good gear had it dropped which in a looting game is pretty ridiculous.

In RoS you can actually find stuff and be happy, not rip people off and be happy that you have - you don't spend all day stalking on noobs...

Don't let me start on the map system - this was created only for currency sink and to keep the economy restricted but at the end of the day it fucks up long time players.

I also stopped playing PoE because of performance issues like tinko says - in RoS I do not have any problems and the graphics are like 10 times better. Also Blizzard made the game more "gothic" and it actually is very reminiscent of diablo2 and poe in terms of atmosphere - no bright colors any more!

In conclusion I would like to say that the numerous nerfs on drop rates, builds, passive skills, items, the endless grind to find upgrades that never drop put me off this game.

I am very sad this is happening because I love GGG and the game as a whole, I still check news and feedback section on forum every day in hopes GGG would change the game and make it better.

There is no "number", there is a word - most.
Where did I get it? I believe that is covered by "from experience". I don't know about your experience from either in-game or here from forums, but from my experience, for each guy that has a nice 5L, Alphas and Rainbowstride, there are 5+ guys that have half-shit gear (less than 1 ex uniques/rares, shitty 5L just for the sake of 5L, etc.).
Note, you won't take those ratios from guides on the forum, if one looks at them and has to make a conclusion of drops... really no need to add up anything to that.

Why are cassino's staying in loads of profit overall? When something like cassino/PoE is made to not go in favor of a player, most of them are going to be unlucky.

Drops themselves wouldn't go that much out of favor for a player if there isn't this socket/link/color system.

If you look back, most patches back then changed D2 a lot and LoD changed it even more. Good to see they aren't afraid to change major game elements, and although certain design decisions make it unlikely I'll ever buy the game I'm very interested to see what will it ens up like once all expansions and patches have rolled out.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

About a $200 game.
