Poe XYZ Broke the trade

Someone don't like competition... then buy the low baller item and sell it for what you think it is worth. But since you won't even buy out the low ball item, why do you think you are going to get a higher price for your item?

" Same. If there is a similar item on xyz which is priced way too cheap, just wait for it to sell first. That will most likely not take long. |

free market thoughts on late - almost time to go home - friday
Actually funny when you start talking free market. Let's compare to free market in real life, which i'm sure is what most people refer to, when talking free market (especially americans). Free market in RL is actually not free at all, since countries put taxes on imported stuff to protect their own market. Let's say some random african country produces and sells wheat for 1 dollar, and americans produce and sell it for 2 dollars. Politicians say, we need to protect our farmers, so we put a tax of 1½ dollars on african wheat. Now american wheat is cheaper and we protect our american farmers. Africans can't sell their cheap wheat despite it's actually cheaper. The EU does exactly the same, as does most regions/countries. "Halleluja for the free market." Free market in regards to finance/banking/stockmarket etc is however a very bad idea shown by recent events, but that's another story :) True free market (unlike the RL free market) is what we have in PoE and it's a good thing imo. " Then youre not playing for fun but looking for a stock market simulator. |

"agreed! would have liked to seen some of the newer ppl's reactions to how we had to trade in CB, lol, when we had make trades without a trade channel and had to drop the item on the ground. if there would be no XYZ and wanted to trade you would find a way and deal with it Last edited by banezilla#2919 on Mar 28, 2014, 10:21:30 AM

Poe.xyz is the Auction House that makes this game playable at high levels. I'd long have lost interest without that site.
The only people who dislike it are those who want to scam other players. | |

without xyz you would be spending more time trying to trade than playing the game

" Nice twist. Fact is that gearing up certain builds, or reaching endgame levels (build & content) cannot practically be done other way than through the economy sim. Therefore, XYZ provides an invaluable service, something that GGG is "still coding". Else, feel free to post your endgame map pool & gear, you achieved without any trading. " No one is forcing anyone to go on xyz for trade. But obviously we go there because it makes trading convenient. It has its ups and downs, but you have to look at it from a real world perspective. GGG listens to its fans!!! Thank you!

" Or perhaps those who don't necessarily like trade very much and perhaps prefer not using external shit. I've never used Poe.xyz, shockingly, I have traded. |
