Poe XYZ Broke the trade

yeah but you need to search in game not on site
There would be trade without XYZ, it would just be an even bigger PITA.

Youre wrong.

No he is not.

Most people would leave the game without XYZ.
true and not supposed to happen
Competition and free market. Is good.
POE is a constantly evolving game, so expect balance changes, buffs and nerfs STILL!

The only thing chat is good for is for buying gems & currency exchange. For any serious trading the game has no trading tools whatsoever. Lets not even talk about browsing thousand of trade forum threads...

XYZ has kept the game afloat more than anyone (even GGG) will be willing to admit.

I find it always funny that on most uniques EVERYONE asks the same price. So they look up a unique and see 30 people ask 3 ex and than they post it for 3ex aswell. I mean come on u want to sell your item right? atleast try to undercut the competition.
I have the same feeling as OP.
While XYZ doesn't have has much impact as D3 AH, it still does to some extent.

Notable impact are :
- less use of trade chat. It is harder to find items now than before XYZ became mainstream.
- Harder to sell average gear.
They are many other impact including RMT.
