As for HC D3, I think it is so much harder then HC PoE at least in PoE there is so many loop holes to survive, in HC D3 one mistake means dead. I remember when playing PoE in the beginning and finally stumbled on that one could port out or log out when shit hit the wall and thought where the hell is the skill in that. I laugh at the idoits that think this game is superior, is nothing but inferior. Why do people care what other people are playing? Path of exile can be the greatest game of the universe and eventually a number of people will get bored of it and play other video games. D2 is the greatest ARPG in the universe according to people but the game is literally dead online. I wish Activision had stayed the hell away from Blizzard, and I wish D3 had been a real successor to D2. Sadly, it wasn't to be. So PoE is the best hope, unless someone else starts a new project (not interested in single player games or peer-to-peer when it comes to ARPGs). I'd back it.
