People are not playing now because of d3/eso, but everyone will be back soon.

I've also stooped due to some moderators having the I.Q of a runner bean. Muted for being 'Anti-Semetic' when I never once mention anything to do with religion, serious lack of education right there, and when I asked for him to provide me with the evidence of being 'Anti-Semetic' he refused, pathetic.

" Nothing complicated in PoE whatsoever, once you get past the honey moon phase you come to the conclusion everything is simple and unrewarding. PoE is for casuals who need to trade to feel powerful and can't be bothered to play the game for rewards. |

I'd prefer a girl to stomp my nuts with her stilettos than grind midnight fragments tbh. Much more fun and rewarding I bet.

" Sure, but hardship and punishment without reward is pointless. No. Calm down. Learn to enjoy losing.

I refuse to get sucked in into a binary world where loving PoE means hating D3. I had fun playing both, for different reasons.
PoE is my choice for long-term play tho, and I doubt I'll play RoS until it goes on sale. Not because I dont have money- on the contrary, I can get the same title charan has if I wanted to, but off the principle of not paying 40 bucks for 1 act and 1 new class. I havent played RoS, but Ive watched lots of streams and monitored forums closely. So far looks like RoS, while fixing a lot of what was wrong with D3V, still has a lot of problems from the og game that still persist. As such, heres my summary of problems: 1. No altoholism allowed. In PoE we have altaholics. In RoS, just like in D3V theres still absolutely zero reason to level more than 6 characters, one for each class. You can try out all builds for your class extremely fast. 2. Itemization. This is a huge topic. There's a great post for new RoS problems here: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/12285768549 but in general, same old weapon dps influences ALL of the skills. weapons still are the same in terms of damage. axe or wand, any class, doesnt matter. same shitty primary stat and vit philosophy. same stuff about monsters with 10000000 hp and favoring offense. 3. Limited builds. This goes back to number 1, but theres really limited builds in RoS still. People say PoE is limiting builds, and in case of Invasion, that is true. But if you play on std, you can still try out tons of builds that drastically differ in playstyle. RoS is very limiting, partly because of damage >>>> all mentality. When I left that game a year ago, the best skill for a witch doctor was zombie bears, because of stupid high damage output for AoE. Looks like its still the best skill for them in RoS. |

I like how you speak as if you're the mind of the entire community. Some people will not come back. Some people will come back. People don't play the same game forever, no matter how good it is.
Btw everyone deciding to turn this into a D3 hate thread, you need to realize the bad and good parts of both games. Rather than just acknowledging the good parts of PoE and the bad parts of D3 like all you GGG ultra fanboys do. D3 is a much more enjoyable game to some people and PoE is a much more enjoyable game to others. Stop acting like your opinion is the only one allowed to exist and pretending that PoE is a flawless game. Last edited by Nycro#4007 on Mar 28, 2014, 5:57:22 PM

D3 didn't change anything worth mentioning.
Still dumbed down shit at it's core with no investment or interesting items. |

*snicker* says the guy saying 'ROS is awesome' and 'PoE is shit' in just about every post for the past two pages' worth of post history. Hope the pay's good.[/quote] Look who is talking the person who paid $900 for a stupid avatar pic, I hope it was worth it, cause PoE is definitely not worth $900. And as for talent, most ppl copy their talents off streamers, and then buy gear off trade, to even think this game is better then D3 is a cry out farce. You want skill do your own talent tree, and find your own gear, and deal with very very very bad RNG and when you die deal with it. Cause ppl who advance especially in HC usually have friends to supply them with gear, if one is on their own, the game is so unrewarding. I really am starting to hate this game with a passion. Only delusional ppl see this game as good cause they want to justify their hrs wasted on something that was worth it. This game has no innovation everyone keeps reminiscing about D2 and wanting something like D2, time changes and with that innovation should occur, not copy the same format as something that was released 14 years ago when technology was on the cusp of greater things, and then torture the player base with malicious RNG. I am so glad I am off this train, cause I honestly don't see myself coming back, unless they make it tolerable for a self-found players. And in my books self found ppl are the ones that have the skills in this game especially in HC anyone else not playing it self found have no skill at all. As for HC D3, I think it is so much harder then HC PoE at least in PoE there is so many loop holes to survive, in HC D3 one mistake means dead. I remember when playing PoE in the beginning and finally stumbled on that one could port out or log out when shit hit the wall and thought where the hell is the skill in that. I laugh at the idoits that think this game is superior, is nothing but inferior. | |
" I don't want to start an argument, but if you can name one thing that is complicated about PoE then go ahead. The game is EASY, the only 'difficult' thing is getting by the RNG walls. |
