People are not playing now because of d3/eso, but everyone will be back soon.

I'm glad everyone is enjoying RoS. I also enjoy knowing that at some point, whether it be a week or a month, you will have all the legos you need in d3 and you will be right back here. Theres only so much ww barb/archon/sss one can do ;D

PS if you are playing D3 why are you posting here? Its like going on targets website to talk about how awesome walmart is. Go to your D3 forums and post pictures of legos like everyone else.

Because you can enjoy and miss the community that you have been part of even after you move on from a game. Social ties.

PoE's community can be pretty rough and obnoxious at times, but it vibrant and largely unfiltered (on the D3 forum you probably get banned if you say anything positive about PoE), and that makes it socially magnetic. It's not that rare for people to find forums more entertaining than video games (and you can browse them at work).

Also, most of the people in this thread didn't really bash PoE or praise D3 in antagonizing ways. I think it's just fine, in spite of my own lack of interest in D3. I understand the reasons. As I said, it's like the choice between a very sexy, complex, but highly bi-polar girlfriend who puts you on an emotional rollercoaster, and one that is relaxed, fun, uncomplicated, still pretty, maybe a tad shallow, but above all: drama-free.

Patch Revision 1.10: Whiner has now become legacy. Divine orbs used on whiner will result in random affix from the whiner pool.

Whiner affix pool:

"No Lifer" : Roll X: 1-10 hours per day. If you play X hours, whine about anyone who plays X+1 hours.

"Nerfs" : Whine about your item/skill being nerfed. If not nerfed, whine about other people's items/skills NOT being nerfed.

"RNG" : Roll 1-10 On 10, don't whine. 1-9. Whine.

Sorry, legacy whiners can't be fixed due to the way the database works. But perhaps you would like to talk to the 4-month temporary whiners instead?

I just hope GGG really step up their game for the next big patch, this expansion is OK but not really well executed for the most part.
