Corrupted blood is retarded
" Armor does not mitigate CB. Only immortal call does. It's a physical degen. Most enemies have pretty weak corrupted blood. It takes a truely frightening combo before it poses a serious threat to most characters. This was an issue in nemesis but is very rarely an issue in every other league. One bleed flask is all you need. Last edited by kasub#2910 on Mar 26, 2014, 9:34:25 PM

" Are you sure? Since I've just tested with a granite and I seemed to take lesser damage.. |

" Pretty sure. Nothing used to mitigate corrupted blood but it was changed in a patch a few months back. It made immortal call and endurance charges mitigate corrupted blood(and also an already applied puncture) but not armor. "Physical percentage based damage reduction and Immortal Call now correctly mitigate damage from physical degeneration damage." |

I'm a melee with 2.2k, 300 es and 16% phys reduction.
I can personally say that I have had 0 trouble with CB and Volatile Blood mobs. I have no idea what all the bitchin is about |

Immortal Call and Endurance charges both mitigate CB. Armour and Arctic Armour do not.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

Knowledge is power.
Volatile damage is based on the mobs maximum health. So any tanky mob will do a lot more damage. Also with volatile...Any extra damage mod on a mob or a map will effect the volatile explosion as well. So a rare golem with extra cold damage as a mod, and extra fire damage as a map mod along with a volatile stormblood nemesis affix... Will be doing a percent of its large health pool as all three elemental damages. There's a lot more knowledge bombs that people are dropping in the thread so I won't reiterate them but yeah, do some research and you'll find that the things you are complaining about being too hard or too unfair are very easily countered as long as you know how to counter them and are prepared for it. A lot of us that play PoE like the fact that the game doesn't completely hold your hand along the entire way. We like that there are mechanics that are unforgiving and really punish you for making mistakes. The games not perfect but most of us like it the way it is for the most part. As much as I hate to say it: there are easier, more forgiving action RPGs out there to invest your time in. Hell, one of them just had a super sweet expansion come out. Perhaps you should look into those? Just a thought... IGN: Ghured Last edited by Vandalain#2745 on Mar 27, 2014, 1:08:03 AM

Neurotypicals are the worst thing this planet ever experienced.
