Shop Store pricing

A thought: if it was $5 for 40 points, and buying it 5 times gave you a bonus 30 points, like one of those loyalty card things they get in cafes, would that be a better 'feeling' way of having (mostly) the same prices? Since it gives you the 'nicer' numbers, and is giving you something extra where currently people seem to interpret those 6 points as taking something away?

Spending 25 dollars at different times to get 230 points via "Frequent Buyers Club" style purchasing.

I like this idea.

But all-in-all, I still personally would rather see points offered end in 5s or 10s, since 10 points is the minimum price of an item, and "25" and "75" point items exist. What would we ever do with 516 points? Just bump that to 520, and the 46 and 96 to 45 and 95 respectively.

I get that there are credit card fees but there is no point in buying 46 points, it makes no sense.

How about you offer logical amounts of points and raise the prices accordingly:

50 pts - $6.00
100 pts - $11.00
200 pts - $20.00
500 pts - $45.00

etc.

The main point here being minimizing "waste" of points sitting in peoples' accounts (like Microsoft points) while still allowing smaller purchases. No one minds a credit card charge of $5.57 or $6.16 but they do mind having 13 points left over unusable in their account.

When do we get our lost item effect back? Do you have a record of purchase stored somewhere? I lost my Curved Bent by overwritting it with another item effect.

A statement was given about this, you need to PM support regarding this concern, then they will verify that the cosmetic was bought and lost and refund you the cosmetic.

How long does it usually take? I've sent in my ticket yesteday.

Not sure on exact times, but my last request to them took 3 days to be answered. They are seriously backed up, I think. :(

I think at this point, the playerbase may then complain that you're taking away 6 points from them.

Possibly if the CC fee was taxed on additionally just like a sales tax or processing fee would be. This may better aid in calming people if they still get 50 points for $5 and then have to pay an additional like 10 cent charge during checkout.

You know, I almost agree with Elynole here. Charge the $5 for 50 points and ADD the fee to it as well. Slap that on us customers. Maybe people will be happy with that :P

Funny thing though, is that the fee is being applied to us already via lower points for those packages.

I think the problem is the fact that there's nothing with the value of a multiple of 6. So regardless of what you buy you're always going to have points you cannot spend. Just remove 1 and make it 95 so you're actually capable of spending all the points that were purchased.

I'll copy paste something I said to another guy who was bad at point-counter-point.

If you went to a pizza shop, what would happen if they offered pizzas for prices of 4.60, 9.60, and 20.00.. But they didn't accept change, or give change? Only whole dollar amounts?

"I'd like a 9.60 please"

"That'll be 10 dollars"

"What about my 40 cents?"

"Well, you can have 40 cents store credit that cannot be redeemed anywhere else, and we don't sell anything for less than a dollar. So...."

I lol'd.

But seriously, this pizza joint that sells pizzas for 4.60, 9.60, and 20.00 , makes pizza for the people. Tired of supporting the Dominoes, and the Pizza Huts, and the Papa John's. The Ma and Pa shop usually gets it right, and in this case, they got everything else right.

Only difference is Pizza Hut has the 25 cent Gumball machine for your change.

Alternate solution: Add something to that shop that costs 6 points. Add a fuckin.. Trail of mist/fire/water/dust that follows behind your character. Boot item enhancement or something.

I'd say either do this, or just give 45 points for $5 and 95 points for $10, it would be less annoying that way.
