Please add loot rules. (Need or Greed, FFA, Loot Timers, etc.)
If you do not want to watch drops you do not get drops pretty fucking simple.
If you do not want to use your queen in a game of chess, you are free to do so.. you will just lose. The game does not adapt to you, you adapt to it.

I don't know why you keep on assuming their profit and player base will drop if this keep this up. If I have to assume, there are only 100+ people on the forum complain about the loot system out of the 65k+ people that are playing. What does need or greed going to do? I can greed every single item I want and the problem still exists. if you want to roll, what if you roll a low number and people always take your stuff because they rolled a high number? Are you going to come to the forum and "suggest" a better solution? I rather rely on my eyes and reflex by picking up the loot than relying on "luck". Stop making things more complicated because of your own self desire. Every post in this thread, is about how YOU don't like the loot system, how YOU hate it when people stole your loot. Like everyone suggested, go play with your friends, solo or don't play at all.
Everyone start a thread saying how they are addressing this so called "problem" for the people that hate this loot system and yet all I see are people addressing this for them self, not others. When I argue for Non FFA loot, I'm not arguing for me. I only play solo or with close friends. I do however want the game to succeed, and for that it needs to continue to attract and keep it's user-base strong. And the best way I see to do that is to improve the looting so that people will want to play, and group, and form social circles which reinforces loyalty. |

I say scrap the timers completely and implement a true FFA system where everyone fights for their loot.
This way it is fair for everyone and hopefully the bickering and arguing will stop. |

" That's not fair for everyone though.. There's the obvious reasons like range vs. melee, and lag. But the main reason I personally don't find it fair is because of how I like to play. I like to actually play, I enjoy progressing and working as a team to that end. However FFA makes it so I'm forced to half my dps and run around picking up loot not being a team player. EDIT: I also don't like to steal from people so that leaves me at a huge disadvantage. If we're meant to fight over loot because this game is 'cutthroat' why then can't I kill people in my party to make sure I get the loot. Have you not notice the game theme? Your fuken criminals. In an island prison, if you are in prison and a shank drops you do you ask the other prisoners need or greed it. Nope. Shanks don't jus drop for everybody. You either pick it up fast or you gettin shanked. You can from parties in prison, but they are still criminals, don't know if they going backstab you. That's prison.
D3 and wow have rotten your minds. You are not forced to party. This is not the same game. Need or greed option is retarded, yea I said it. what if everyone just need? Items are not soulbound they might need or other char or sell. And you probably spend more time needing or greeding it than playing the game. The sooner you get it through your mind the more happier you will be and enjoy the game. |

" Excpet... you can't back backstab your party member. This is not cutthroat prisnors... If you bothered to listen to the character intros at char creation you would realise that's not how the lore is set up. You're not thugs looking to beat each other up and be best buds at the same time. If I truly am a thug that steals and backstabs, why can I not kill my party members when they take my item and get it back?... this is PvM not PvP that's why, so why should I have to fight over loot. |
