I feel bad ripping off the newbies...

But they do it to themselves. I'm honestly not a greedy person, but when someone offers you 4 GCP and a chaos for a 0% quality lightning strike, what am I suppose to do? I had another newbie give me a 5L for a chaos which I flipped in 1 hour for an exalted. Help me PoE community. Help me help them.

" Be a good person and not anally rape them? I'm really not normally a rapist but when you find a hot girl passed out drunk alone in a dark room at a house party, what am I supposed to do? |

" The lore may be there, but think twice about ripping people off. It doesn't make you look good, and people will trust you less if they thin you are ripping them off. A newb in CB almost totalled my trading rep by spamming that I was ripping him off when I sold him a clarity gem for an alch. He practically wanted it for free, said he was only going to pay 2 transmutes. I lost it and yelled at him for being a fool. Then he retaliated by spamming "Don't trade with this guy <insertnamehere> he's a scammer charging too much for skill gems" and kept spamming it every time I tried to buy or sell something. If not for having a well known clientele by then I would never have been able to trade again until OB began. Think about things like that before talking smack about 'brutal' and 'unforgiving' the next time. 1337 21gn17ur3

I tried to say no, but when I have 0 gcp and they are offering you 4 gcp for essentially a giveaway item its really hard to turn down. It's not like I said I wanted 4 gcp. He offered ME. Maybe he was rich and wanted to give to the needy, aka me.

For the record, I trade a decent bit. I have many returning customers and 95% of the time I make very fair trades. Some people just come to me and basically say "shutup and take my money!" . Who am I to say no?

" You took advantage of a new player. That was bad. If you want to be a positive member of a frankly awesome community, you resist the temptation to get over on the ignorant and help them learn more about this kick ass game. |
