1.0.6 Vendor Recipes, Discovered Yet?

Yeah it's pretty stupid.

Someday we might even see GGG say "Oh yeah 4 new vendor recipes were added" just to make their patches look bigger without adding any real content.
I personally simply don´t care anymore about new recipes beeing added because ggg showed in the last recipes no intention of making them combineable. So the "fun" of finding a new recipe, that most times will be underwhelming, is zero. For me atleast. Cheer gl hf to the other recipe hunters though.
What can never be lent or earned?
Somewhat, that devours everyone and everything:
A tree that rush. A bird that sings. It eat bones and smite the hardest stones.
Masticate every sword. Shatters every shrine. It defeat mighty kings and carry mountains on lightly wings.

GGG including unannounced recipes equates to bullying? Really? :S
how about make vendor recipe a global drop? or make the hint to the actual recipe a global drop. kinda like a treasure map

sounds like some people in this thread are jealous that they dont have the knowledge of the recipe for themselves.

sounds selfish.

find out yourselves.

theres FOUR non-public recipes and you all cant find ONE of them.
I would like to point out that even if they gave out clues and all the other trappings you are asking for, it would still likely be more efficient to brute force it. Meaning all your time examining clues and trying to solve the riddle would likely be for nothing.

But solving riddles is more fun. Best example is the riddle of The Goddess Scorned. People were way more involved in finding the recipe or suggest possible solutions if they lacked the resources.

I don't say GGG should execute it exactly that way again. That would take away some of the charm of this past event. However they should consider releasing riddles for recipes unlikely to be bruteforced, imo. Knowing that GGG can take exact socket layouts and quality into account, the possibilities are practically endless.

I really don't agree. If clue are totally cryptic, like the Goddess poem, it's more efficient to brute force. If clues are understandable, or have each 2~3 possible ways to be understood, it's better to use your brain.

But this won't happen because, guess what, GGG LOVES RNG ! So recipe discovery will stay 100% RNG. Choose items randomly in your stash, put them in vendor, and pray that you got the right combination. We can even say that it's already less rng than crafting, since if you are well organized, you'll be able to have tried all the possible combinations from your stash after a certain time.

Too bad they don't see how good the ARPG element of their game is...
Discovering these recipes is fun just for a tiny minority of players.

GGG should made all the recipes public say 2 or 3 months after they were introduced. Which still leaves enough time for profit, for those who like painstakingly put things into the vendor window.
