I disagree. The worst whiners and trolls have no supporter titles. Won't name them though since namecalling is forbidden ;)
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

Chose to take off my titles for this reason, looks rather silly to tear something apart while you support it :)

Cant rightfully display support until you support GGGs actions.

The money's still gone to them. The only difference is you're not proud of it, not happy to fly that flag high.

I don't blame you, but it's all just a simulation of non-support.

I'm sorry.

Some drama must be going on behind the scenes, You attitude towards GGG has changed in the last month or so.
Obviously wrong, because you doesn't show your profile.
You won't have my gear.

Not just typical forum trolls

Took a look today and realised almost all of them are closed/open beta supporters. They have also donated $200 or more to the game, and often have completed lots of challenges and have many high leveled characters.

just what the fuck

quite possibly they'd just like to see the game get better?

Some people choose not to have their supporter titles displayed.
I always found them gaudy, so never displayed mine.

But yeah, the longer people play PoE, the more they tend to get fed up with the "advancement" of the game.

Personally, I think the game is worse since general release.
I agree Poe was much better in closed beta. GGG has made bad move after bad move since full release.

Some of us have put a fair bit of time & money investment. We care deeply about this game, and love it. But there's stuff that makes ya just soo 'MAD BRO'.
As the dev's promised 10 years of constant content update. Telling the dev's what isn't good, might get the game as good as other parts.

So far most of our discussions in 1000s of threads in over the past 2 years on how this or that part of PoE can be improved and made better (crafting, item progression, trading, league expansion, better end game, etc.) seems to have fallen on deaf ears as GGG has PoE going down their own path with very little of our posts influencing or convincing the devs that there is a better way. With each .1 increment of the game version we hope that something we have posted about as a better way would resonate with the devs and GGG would implement some of our ideas. But alas and sadly that seems to not be the case. But we as avid fans of PoE will keep on trying.

Next up is a bigger 1.10 patch coming in March with 2 new 4 month leagues and more changes and more fingers crossed that maybe, just maybe this time we'll get something new and better that addresses and fixes the broken parts of PoE. I used to get excited with each and every minor game patch thinking how cool the new features are but after 1 year and 2 months of going steadily down a gradual slope from major enjoyment to minor enjoyment with each patch to today where I just read the patch 1.06 notes and thought "meh, I'll play my level 70 fire summoner to see if the changes help my build" but don't have the high enthusiasm that I did in CB and early OB. Some of this is a natural fact of long term playing burnout but mostly this is due to GGG knowing where the major problems are and not adequately addressing them or stating that a problem with PoE has a high priority and then nothing changes and the problem is still there in PoE 1.05 (or more likely as is the case with desync GGG has put a serious amount of time into fixing it but due to the core way they wrote the server/client simulation engine can't come up with a solution that works). I try to be objective about it, my waning of interest in playing PoE is less than it was for me when playing D3 in 2012 (I quit playing D3 after only 4 months) but still there are always lot's of WTF were the devs thinking when they decided how to implement a feature (a good example is trade chat).

So here I am, awaiting the March arrival of PoE 1.10 and again keeping my fingers crossed that a major broken feature of PoE will be fixed (crafting, trading, desync... er no, that's off my wish list as a "never going to happen"). I am at least very pleased that GGG does have minor patches coming out more or less every 2 weeks and GGG is a much better game company to communicate with than scores of others so being a small indie company does give us a better repport with the devs. For that I am thankful and a big thanks to GGG for all that PoE has given to the arpg community. May you be financially successful and keep going all the way to act X.
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

Thats pretty much amy game that has a large community beta, really. Games change drastically as theyre developed, and people by nature do not like change.
We are all idealist's hiding behind a sugarcoat of realism.

It is why we care so much, striving for the ideal, and get burned out hitting reality.

I personally still love the game and have not done any map 73+, maybe my opinion will change if i ever reach 78 maps. And posting "feedback" or "suggestions" feels a little bit redundant.

Example :

Reclaim all mtx button, has been asked for over a year to implement, would help there paying customers out a lot and show they are aware of this issue for big spenders.

It's just one example, but it would be so good for QoL when playing PoE. I stopped buying MTX effect's since i lose them all anyway on my 20+ chars.

Example 2 :

Boss rewards inside maps, also been asked for over a year, all we get are buffs to bosses without any reward incentive, resulting in a "skip the boss" attitude. While in my opinion the boss should be the climax of the map, and one of the reasons you start the map.

Example 3 :

Name of character in overlay mini-map, a huge QoL improvement for PoE and basically in any other rpg i know of. No clue why this has not been implemented.

For me personally the biggest issue is the following one :

They proudly present this game as a theory-crafter paradise with insane build diversity. This holds true if you want to play standard league and only till level 45 or if u don't mind dying. Most builds only come together around lvl 70, and at this stage the equipped items outweigh the importance of your passive tree, resulting in a higher need for items then for levels. (8% hp node, ore a piece with 85+ life roll, you decide what you would prefer?)

And since the items are gated behind RNG, and a very high grindfest, the chances of you actually getting to play your crafted retarded build turn to zero.

Nullifying one of there major sales points for this tittle to become truly epic and have an insanely high replay ability factor.

Spoiler
I always wonder if they think people would leave after they make 1 sick build fully geared at lvl 80? Personally i don't think so, the grind to 100 is very long and can entertain people for a long time, specially with "godmode" every rpg player enjoys "godmode" and in PoE you can still die even with that. On top of that, if the duration to make a fully equiped 80+ char takes a shorter time, i would go from build to build while i play. Slowly upgrading them to BiS gear over time one by one.
