Immortal flesh belt soooo OP...

-10% max hurts.

Unless you max spellblock, then its not so bad. Belt has amazing synergy with

There is no "even though", this belt is a plain peace of bullcrap!

Taking 40% more elemental damage is not worth the life regen, not even close. Same reason why that new helm is crap, taking 300% more elemental damage is not worth it.
Bullshit, you get the game for free.

GGG loves the malus lately a bit too much if you ask me.
They need to tone it down a little.
My build has 31k armor without granite flask, then -200 flat phys damage taken on top of that (which will get better as I level up it should end up at I think -350 flat physical damage taken.)

I also have Cloak of Defiance which takes whatever elemental damage I'm taking and reduces it by 40% by sending it to my mana pool which also works for physical as well.

So...I didn't want to mention Safell's Frame but someone already did.

I will admit I've never done anything over a level 75 map with this character and I generally only do magic maps I don't alchemy them because overall it's a waste of currency to me. I've gotten big drops on white maps and absolutely nothing on 100% quantity maps. It's just RNG

But yeah I can wade into a sea of mobs on level 73-74 blue maps and basically take no damage at least while my flasks are still up =p and the belt certainly makes a difference.

The trade off on the passives I needed to take and mana oriented gear I use is that my character's DPS will likely never exceed 14k at least until they release a new unique that synergizes with my build.

Alching maps may be a waste, but it gives you higher chance to drop maps, of course RNG can be RNG, so you do what you got to do. Another thing about alching maps, it pushes your build to the limit because there are more conditions/mods in place. Blue maps only can get you 2 mods at a time. I got plenty of builds that can easily do 74-76 blue maps (Not sure about Residence and Crematorium since these guys can be iffy), but the challenge of doing them is alching them. Those maps will tell you whether or not your build has any major flaws.

true, but I wasted an exalted chaos'ing a map one time and realized I'd had enough. I'll do a yellow map if it drops unID'd though

My only issue when it comes to alching/chaosing map is having BM pop up, but luckily, I rarely get BM to pop up, so one alch is enough. You need to have a build that is sturdy enough to tackle almost anything. Having to resort to alching/chaosing a lot signifies you have no confidence in your build or feel that your build has reached its limit.

I kept getting -mana regen and +100% damage as lightning, which no, the build isn't designed to handle. I was forced to keep chaosing so that all the other chaos orbs wouldn't have been wasted!

Neither blooddance or Immortal Flesh are OP. They are two of the best designed uniques in the game because in the hands of an idiot, they are ridiculously bad, in the hands of a good player, they can last all the way to level 100.

Speaking of lasting to lvl 100, my character that uses Blood Dance is at lvl 89, and is still incredible. Never seizes to amaze me. Personally my favorite unique item in the game.

Mine too. Great design.
Many lewt.
Much desync.
Such rewarding.
Wow.
According to forum mods "sandwich" is considered an offensive word. Who knew?
