You are totally right but this does not mean that one game cannot steal good idea implementations from other, why not? I't solid and revered development tradition, and it does not mean that PoE will suddenly become offline and modable, but introduction of new and better affices that can "stir the sh*t up" would be more then welcome. State of PoE uniques is either shit, cheap and half usable or Op and expensive as hell. No middle ground.

I do perfectly agree with OP.
Mods at the moment are very bad because most items you just KNOW what the best combination of mods is. There are very few situational mods and sidegrade gear.
It needs attention as gear is something that adds a lot of diversity to the game.
