No, dying all the time to desync is just indicative of the fact that he doesn't have enough life. If he's dying to desync, he's going to die to all sorts of legitimate game mechanics that people with more life don't even have to think about.

My most recent character has all of 1500 hp and is fine in Merciless A3X until shit goes loopy. So no putting more HP on her at this point would be nothing more than mitigating desync. 1500 HP won't work later in the game but I'm not there yet with her so it would serve no other purpose. But you know damned well when it does desync she's dead.
The fact that you immediately turn to "you need more life it isn't desync" despite the fact that you have no idea what his gear and life situation is, and that EVERYONE turns to that excuse, is in and of itself indicative that stacking HP is seen as an anti-desync catch-all independent of progression.

1500 hp in act 3 merciless is awful and I sincerely doubt you can play properly with that amount of health, regardless of desync. 'Fine' = how many deaths? If it's more than 0, it's not fine. The only thing desync is is being hit by mobs that you can't react to. There are a lot of situations where that happens as a result of legitimate game mechanics, which don't include desync. A hasted rhoa in a 35% fleet map is going to come flying in from off screen and hit you. That will probably do a lot more damage than most instances of desync would. Similarly with sub phys flicker mobs, devourers, etc. IF your build can't handle that, it's not designed well, REGARDLESS of desync. You're going to die to desync a lot, but you're also going to be dying to legitimate game mechanics. Fixing one will fix both.

You're right, of course. Since you personally can't imagine it, clearly it's not possible.
As for the rest of that drivel, what did you think "1500 HP won't work later in the game but I'm not there yet" meant?

Drivel? 1500 hp is low for act 3 cruel, let alone merciless. If you have 1500 hp by act 3 merciless, doubling what you have for maps is still too low. I never said anything about 1500 hp later. Learn to read. Try taking advice from people who can get to 90+ without dying a single time, instead of assuming they're desync apologists.
Seriously, what's your /deaths ? I wouldn't be surprised by 50+ Mine's 0 and I'm level 92, but clearly I'm an idiot and don't know what I'm talking about, right?

I only have 2700 ES on my Caster and I consider that low as balls. Damn 1500 is low... I'd consider anything under 4000 low on melee characters.
People, it doesn't matter if you like it or not, it's the truth. I hate that we're forced to build characters under the same foundations... but that's how the game is played currently.

50+ wow that's laughable. Is that how many you'd have?
Maps are later. Fleet Map Rhoas are later. Evertyhing you said anything about was later content, for which I already acknowledged 1500 hp was too low. So thanks for agreeing with me, I guess.
Since you got to 90 without dying once, please have a cookie on me. That doesn't at all effect my initial position that playing a highly defensive build is the best way to mitigate desync. But still, congratulations.

Are you high? I wouldn't have any, because I wouldn't be playing a scrubshit sc build with 1500 hp. You don't understand my argument at all. You said the only reason you need high hp was to mitigate desync. I told you that you need high hp to mitigate legitimate game mechanics. You refuted nothing, and instead told me 1500 hp was fine for act 3 merciless. Then when I said it wasn't and that even double still wasn't, which someone else agreed with, you pretend we were making the same point. You still think the only reason to have more than 6k hp as melee is because of desync. It's not, you just haven't reached the stage of the game where you'll get wrecked with anything less, desync or not.
You got completely fucking dunked on, gg.

Of course it's low as balls. Why do you think I used it as an example?
You can, without insurmountable difficulty, play the game with a build with HP everyone considers low as balls, and be fine until the game decides to teleport your ass around the map for no reason, or have you attack a ghost for multiple seconds with no life leech as a result.
So guess what, 1500 hp is fine the majority of the time. NOTHING in A3 will one shot 1500 hp without telegraphing what's coming, first. Except Kole, maybe.

You used legitimate game mechanics from content I'm not even on yet. I don't give two shits about mitigating map mechanics I'm not yet encountering on that character. Keep failing at reading comprehension though, and feel free to state whatever dumb shit you feel like next, because I'm not going to waste my time responding to you again, since you're either stupid or trolling.
