80+ levelling
" Hi mate, Sorry to hear about your frustrations. Maybe your gear isn't quite up to it? or you need to change your playstyle? It sounds like that particular 67 map may be a bit out of your league for now. Perhaps you need more hp, or more practice/knowledge. Or maybe to just take your time a bit more. Im at 4.5k hp, 8k armour, 2k LMP-Spectral Throw dps... MEH. But im solo self-found in Nemesis. I started running maps at 76. Perhaps its your build I dunno. The devourers pause before they shoot now so dodging them is not an issue? Just for try for see and for know -2013!

I forget that in sc you can reach lvl 80 and have no idea how to play. Ty thread for the reminder!

" This. lv92 is roughly where you got to have an idea how to play or you'll never each it in standard. This message was delivered by GGG defence force.

" This and this. You're not supposed to get to 90+ unless you have: 1. A lot of time to play, a LOT, and/or 2. A very good, safe, efficient build and/or 3. Very good gear, and/or 4. Friends to party with (I am not sure about this one). This is a grinding game with a progression system, which, albeit finite, is incredibly long. You can theoretically get to level 100 and obtain items with perfect stats, which are BiS for your current build. Some time before that happens, however, you are going to get "bored" or decide that the progression is too slow, or too difficult, or too risky, and so on. What I find very good about this system is that it naturally encourages you to determine this point on your own. Depending on your skill, luck, time spent, personality and what you expect from the game you are going to decide to stop grinding at some point. And reroll, or move on to other activities. If you like this game, most likely reroll, because there are so many other things to try! This moment may be the end of Merciless, level 80, level 90 or simply when you run out of 70+ maps for the n-th time. Or late cruel (I am looking at you, Charan :) I find this concept ingenious. I am only concerned that adding Act 4, 5, and so on will make grinding to 100 much easier. Shavronne wrapped Kaom's waist,

" Lol. No, you don't need friend, no you don't need a lot of time to play, no you don't need a safe, effcient builds and no you do not need very good gear. What you need is: The currency to pay the fee to join lv74+ maps and mediocre skills enough to avoid death. That's all. This message was delivered by GGG defence force. " If you can solo 78 Dominus on nemesis, link me a video. I've done almost every boss. It is not easy to do when you can't die. You can't get a feel for bosses, if you die without knowing the fight, you die. I don't agree with people talking shit. I realize you were just responding to someone who already started shit talking. But, it isn't easy nonetheless. Current IGN: TheBearerOfLight Gizoogle Chris: "Da State of Exile muthafuckas axed mah crazy ass ta post a reminder dat they podcast is dis weekend, as usual. There should be maps on the ring vendor that you can purchase with currency.
Just hit 80 in nemesis. I don't usually group because I am a summoner, I am my own group. :) |

I just went in my first level 72 map yesterday and did well up until I got too close to the double oak bosses and lag died 50 feet from them while the tanks were fighting them. Lesson learned is don't get close to tanky bosses until ES has finished regen because of lag and desynch you never know when hits will register. That's me as a caster and not much damage mitigation. Plus with crashes and other observed lag fests, even Overgrown ruin heavily modded can take people out in seconds and you just see a death screen. To me, that is the most frustrating part now, never knowing and needing to play around these issues. And melee handles all that stuff much more easily than my caster.
But nothing wrong with a break, I have a few more steam games in queue after the sale, plenty to play if I can get away for a bit. Last edited by raziekeljr#3483 on Dec 27, 2013, 11:42:09 AM
