WIll POE Match D3

I have a lot more fun playing PoE than I ever did playing D3. I've watched some videos on RoS but none of it has excited me. Most of what I see is just larger numbers but they don't really mean anything because the mobs and bosses also got larger numbers too. they aren't really changing enough to D3 to entice me into buying it.

I'll be right here on PoE when RoS launches with terrible drop rates and desync too. Neither of those factors is enough to remove the fun I have building new chars and testing out new ideas. I have fun failing but I have so much more fun when my idea succeeds. In D3 you can't fail, just get bigger numbers and faceroll.

Assuming you mean the drop of good/useful items, and not just "anything dropping." I agree, more than enough stuff drops. If your goal is to see white, blue, and yellow letters on the screen, that's fine.

You realize that any item you ever traded for, even mediocre stuff, has been filtered out of millions of drops if not more? You give up all rights to compare drop rates once you trade for stuff. No game, no matter what the drop rate can compare to trading for stuff. They could multiply the drop rates by 10,000 and you'd still have traded for that one in a million item and be here complaining about drop rates.

Players trading has ruined drop rates... not the games that they're complaining about.

Character customization is the main reason why I dislike D3 and got bored with it. I also did not like certain design decisions such as spells DPS relying on weapon DPS. Also, I hate the character animations like Monk sheathing a sword to face palm an enemy and the sword magically re-appearing in his hand after the attack.

Anyways, I am content with POE and really have no interest in D3 past the few weeks I played it at launch, new XPAC or not.

POE is better then D3 and always will be, I played the PTR ROS and like others said, No end Game, and gets boring very fast... good luck on topping this game D3...

I'm not an arcade fan so got no interest in d3

But its properly a lot more fun for children

I judge a game based on how much trust I'm still placing on the developer. Right now I have none for bliz so I will not spend a dime there.

ive been here for nearly a month now and while i dont loot a deaths oath or abyssus whatever everyday i get some now and then.

keep playing and stop whining
if you play with 0%rarity and expect results then i dont know what to tell you besides get more rarity ...

You didn't get that stuff by drops in a month. You got it trading. It's posts like yours that make people think that drop rates are bad. They compare what they've found to what people have traded for. Trading is at least 1000 times more efficient than drops. Your "month" is about 300 years of play time.

Really?

i've clocked 500 hours since launch and havent found more then 1 exalt and 1 or 2 low level decent uniques

Looks like they already lowered drop rates in RoS beta.
