Why is GGG caving in to casuals' demands?

Thread was created in junction with the influx of "SFL Naow!" -threads.
I think that will be the last nail in the coffin if GGG ever caved in on that. It will utterly destroy what PoE is about. Also there's only like 1 person (sodium777) constantly spamming multiple of those SFL threads to make it seem that it's a legitimate demand. Straight public opinion manipulation. |

The fact that people lobbied against permanent loot still baffles me.

Permanent loot is not automatically assigned when a party is created. You have to manually change from short allocation. Hence nobody forces you to use it and what prevents you from forming a core group of like minded players who prefer FFA looting? Show some initiative.

Loot allocation aside:
Puncture got nerfed. Exp. loss in Cruel and Merciless has been lowered (not an issue for HC players, sure) Lightning thorns got nerfed. Off the top of my head. I'm sure there is more. Not that I'm worried about it personally, but OP doesn't fantasize about stuff being easier. On the other hand we have Dominus, Devourers and Bubblers (whatever those are, but I hear they're not nice) to balance that out (in a way). Bird lover of Wraeclast

For crying out loud you can buy anything and everything in a game where every player on earth is connected. You even get achievements, so called 'challenges' for shopping. I only just saw they did the whole pretend challenges again this 4 month league. Shopper? Been there, done that, got the T-shirt. Lol Casually casual.
