If you have good drop rates you will finish the game fast and get bored after.
That's not what you want, for sure.

Nonsense, I still play TQ IT and it rains items in that game. Not everybody is like you..it amazes me how many people just. cant . work that out. Also what ARPG's have some of you played lol.

this game progresses (items/orbs wise) like no other ARPG I've played..

Moved to suggestions.

PERFECT!

Now SFL can die in peace.

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP.

SFL supporters outnumber you trolls 10 to 1. Keep bumping.

And suggestions belong in the correct forum section. Why people bitch and moan about their threads being moved is beyond me. GGG reads the suggestions more often than the general discussions but they comment there the most.

Its an illusion that they are not seeing any of the threads here so please put suggestions here.

Meh. What I say is fact.

As I stated in a post before, you guys are all entitled to keep the dream alive. It's your time to blow, not mine. Do what you want, I'm not your momma! :D Best of luck!

Actually, in D3 player quitted the first months for this reason. Now they quit for the exact opposite: game is too easy and boring. you can check forums and game too.

And please describe us how a "normal" ARPG game should be then. Because for me a "normal" ARPG is like D2 and PoE where it's VERY HARD to reach for endgame equip. And no please don't say that in D2 was easy to hve endgame gear because is completely false

Heh. I will copy my post about this from my other thread about the drops in d2, and no, d2 item drop rates and PoE are night and day. The best of best are same, but all other items that you would need to progress is not.

"How much do you need to farm in d2 before you can complete hell? Almost nothing. You see in d2, boss runs droped very good loot for much shorter time invested in farming compared to PoE.

In diablo 2 best of best items drop as bad as in PoE. The problems is, other good items like unique and set items drop few times more than in PoE just by farming bosses. In PoE to progress to last dif, you need to farm 5 times more than you need to do in diablo 2. And for map it sky rocks to roof as you need now to farm for maps also

Not only that, how many unique and set items did you get before even hitting hell in d2? On average around 10 and more. How many unique do you get from playing PoE in first 2 dif? If you are luck you will get around 2 xD.

You see, just by farming in d2, you get few times better items for time invested compared to PoE. I do not care about best of best items in PoE as i dont need it to complete the game, but you need good items, and the drop rates for them suck compared to good items that you need in d2 to complete the game.
"

Here is my other post including d2, and other arpg games:

"First go play any of this games: titan quest, torchlight 1, torchlight 2, sacred, diablo 2. Start the game from beginning, count first how many times you get upgrades, how many uniques/set items you get, on first difficulty, than on second difficulty and on last one. Count how many hours you need to farm until you get upgrade to progress for next dif. Go farm last dif in any of this games for 1 hour, and look what items dropped, how good they are, how many uniques dropped and for what level they are. Now do the same in PoE, and compare.

First thing that you will noticed is actually low level uniques drop few times more than in PoE in areas that you can actually need them. Second thing you will noticed, if you farm in those games for lets say 3h, you will get few times better number and quality of items that you can actually use to progress.
Note:best of best items is "hard" to get in this games same as in PoE (like 6 link uber items), but all other item not that much compared to PoE.
And you may ask your self why? Why is time invested in farming in PoE less rewording and harder to get upgrades. There are few reasons, and I will talk about them latter in my post, but generally, all this games i listed are build around a player, not around a whole economy from the ground as PoE."

Fact is, PoE drop rates are bad compared to any arpg i played and know (not counting d3).

Torchlight drops are crazy and can be manipulated pretty easily. Single player
In TQ drops seemed to come at a slow pace, but wasn't awful. Single player
In D2 drop rates were abysmal for the best items, but there was such an item variety that it seemed fine. Single player/Multiplayer
In D3 drop rates were abysmal for the items you needed and there was almost no item variety. Multiplayer
In PoE drop rates for the best items are awful, but there is a good amount of variety to drops. Multiplayer

This is how I feel, and I played quite a bit of each game. I think the drop rates are perfectly fine here. It's quite better than D3 and easily comparable to D2.

Why do we want SFL in topics:
-We don't want an easier game. We want to be able to craft but mostly FIND the gear to use (not trade for it); that's what an RPG is made to be!
-Partying makes the game incredibly easier; NO PARTYING!
-If you are unable to trade, there is NO RMT.
-some more reasons that I won't explain;

I cannot follow your ideas. I am a casual player with some extra time on vacation, not much time during the rest of the year, an average 1-2 hours per day I would think (of which most are spend on the weekends).
I dislike trading, I really hate it, the first thing I did was turning off the trade spam.
I love the different build varieties, the skill system is really great (I loved FF X for it, too, btw.), and the mixing with active and passive skill gems is a crown on top. And I already created different characters because of it.

I regularly play with two other people together, sometimes I play alone. So, turning trading or partying off would counter our play style (they turned off the trade spam, too, btw.). We founded a guild to easier give our found items as gift to each other.

What we would instead like to gain is more drops. We do not care about economy. If others get filthy rich or skyrocket with the quality of their characters, we do not care. Let them skyrocket, let them be filthy rich. This will not have any impact on our play, nor will us being able to have some casual fun will have impact on them - we will not trade with them.

We have not much time for playing anyway, and in the time we have, we want fun. We will sure need years to test all the builds that are possible. So why GGG should want to discourage us before the years are gone? If frustration gets too high, we will leave for a different game and spend our cash there (of course we spent it for stash tabs, how else to store all these items from all the different chars?).

I first thought a self found league would be what I want, but sorry man, with the reduction to solo play it would be shooting myself in the knee if I would join. Good Luck to you, but I guess with the above restrictions you will not gather many followers.
Ah, so this is where threads go to die.
Must be nice if you can just sweep away problems with the game under the rug/suggestion forum.

Vote +1 to change Path of Exile to Path of Nerfs.
We hate to say, but ProjectPT was right.
I support the idea of a SFL
