Yes they do. In fact, their chance to drop is infinitely higher.

You can't get level 78 es hybrid roll at Lunaris 3 piety. That's just how it is. If you want that roll, you need ilvl 78 map content (76 boss, 77 champs/boss, 78 anything). The chance for high level affixes (77+) to drop is infinitely higher than in 68 areas since the 77 affixes are unable to drop in content that low at all.

Look at Mathil, he soloed to 95 and didn't find a single one of them. I've run tons of them haven't gotten a single one of them. There are groups doing 75-78 all day, and not getting any of the tiered ones. It's silly.

You guys have never found a single good rare with high ilvl stats before? That sounds really unlucky.

If you're talking about an item with 4 top bracket stats (an armor chest with high ar, ar%, life, and a high resist), then I'm not surprised that you guys haven't found a rare like that. An item like that is a lottery drop. But my point is, if you do high maps you're playing in the lottery. You have the chance to get it whereas in a 68 area you don't.

So yeah, it's unlikely, but that's the nature of a lottery. :D

I have leveled three characters to merciless since start of Anarchy. I have seen precisely two exalts and an eternal drop. Each character saw one of those on the first pass through act1 merciless.

Actually I've yet to find a single "high value item".... My 2 best finds are well rolled Rainbowstrides (1,2ex) and Meginord's Girdle (1ex). Best rare I found and sold was worth around 15c. I've found a few rares worth maybe 1ex or so that I've ended up using myself, though.

Maybe if I'll level 10-15 more I'll find 1 exalt or something worth more than 1ex when sold :P

OT: I'm also kinda fed up with being "stuck" in 68-70 maps and sometimes having to buy some just so I dont have to go back to grinding 66-67 ones for no exp and usually no useful maps either :(
