New pet videos on youtube
I do get Kabraxis' reaction a little bit though.
The underlying question it seems to me is whether the same tiered system as the one from supporter packs should transfer to miscelnnaeous shop items after Open Beta. Meaning, even as a F2P game and not "pay to win", there is something I find a little bothering that there would be exclusive pets and items for the really rich. So he does have a point in that the tiers should not be as exclusive as they were for supporter packs. This is not the same situation now. Gold/Diamond Supporter packs were understood as a way of funding the game essentially. A kind of kickstarter. Very smart move from GGG. But as I said even as a F2P game I feel that supporting this type of Diamond/Gold, super expensive items is not cool for the player base. Funding is over. Now hopefully GGG can make a good regular income by selling reasonably priced items in reasonably priced tiers. Meaning, that it would totally suck that some pets can't be bought because they are like 50$ or more. That's silly. |

People will be to busy praising GGG on the lack of P2W to give a shit about prices on optional cash shop items.
Go check out Allods. People have payed well over $300 for mounts on top of the massive amount of items required to remain competitive. Last edited by Rollback#5721 on Jan 22, 2013, 7:34:43 PM

And whats the price? Hope is not so high, same with Spell Animations.
For 5$ i would buy 10-20 pets/animations over the next 1-2years but for 15-25$ i will buy 0, than i would stick with Stash Tabs etc. :/ IGN: kReiZy Last edited by sYkoDe4d#0481 on Jan 22, 2013, 7:33:11 PM

" If you don't like the price or think GGG is cheating people with expensive prices, then don't buy anything. Simple as that. Keep your butt hurt out of threads though, it is nasty :P Kiwi Name = Sir Remington Kiwi; Duke of that tree over there.

I had no idea that completely optional, cosmetic pets that have no effect on gameplay could be considered "overpriced".
That being said, GGG will want people to buy them, so I hope they provide a range of different costs to suit how much people can and will pay. Last edited by BurnOutBrighter#5741 on Jan 23, 2013, 5:34:40 AM

" I like this comparison the most. |

Ya know what...? The people that will pay for these cosmetics will regardlessly if the rest do or dont.
Pricing is in GGGs ballpark. Dead discussion. PS - the poster back several pages that asked for multi pets on field at once ... i agree. That would be cool purchase. GGG - Why you no? Last edited by JoannaDark#6252 on Jan 22, 2013, 7:36:11 PM

"It's not like you're forced to buy them. All the pets are purely cosmetic. |

" Hahaha - Whine - get it?!? Because entitled children are WHINING about pricing of optional non gamechanging items! Hilarious! " ... to let them know the game isn’t going to be very fair from here on out."

" There's nothing wrong with charging $1000 or any amount of money for a vanity item (key word: "vanity"). You're gonna have to get over the fact that getting all them would require serious cash. You're the one being unreasonable here, not Grinding Gear. Stay up-to-date: gggtracker.com
