Solo Self-found end-game

if you think playing the game is a waste of time and refuse to trade WHY are you playing this game?

Well it is a waste of time if you invest so much time to get no rewords. Do you know about what are arpg games? Loot man, that carrot, make it drop so little and people will get bored.

I dont want this to become another d3 (well it already is in a way)

And I am actually not playing it anymore.

Do you understand the carrot on the stick concept AT ALL? chasing it is the whole point, if you could actually catch and eat the carrot easily THAT'S what would make you bored and move on

and you have no characters aswell, why bother then? :)
just try to understand that it's impossible to make the drop rates good for a single player mode;

in D2 LoD, in single player there was NO WAY to find a Zod rune.
i've played it MP and SP for like 8 years, i've seen JUST ONE SoJ on ground (never been much of MFer)

I haven't started doing level 70+ maps yet.

'nuff said

I played SF till 71, then started to sell gear for orbs to roll maps. With 1.0.2 things got a little easier, but trading is still needed in endgame.

Impossible? Where did you get that idea... That's why we are asking for a self found league, to make it possible.

If people want to trade, fine, want to farm for 300h to get to level 70 maps, fine, they have a option for it. People like me dont have the option, and adding that option will not hurt the other group in any way.
I support the OP.

Those 300h to some is derisively called "grinding" while to the OP and people like myself we call it "playing the game".

Play the game, let the chips drop as they may...have fun while doing so and I'd call it cheap entertainment.

So you want all the rewards without having to play the game, I understand that now.

Playing the game should be the reward on its own.

There are people who want to play through the game and do maps without having to camp trade chat with all the nerds or farm like no-lifers for 300 hours.

Should we have to purchase higher levels of Pac-Man, Contra, Galaga, Commando, Double Dragon or Tetris from other players with in-game currency before we can proceed or spend 300 hours getting better stats? No, we just play the game and have fun the whole way through. It's fantastic. Sure, you may die and have to start over, but if you're good at the game you'll do just fine. I don't recall Kung Fu having gear checks.

Whenever I can help it I always offer double what an item is worth just so that someone will sell it to me faster so I can go back to having fun. At this point, if I don't get what I want in less than a couple minutes I stop playing and do something else. Trading is more a detriment to my enjoyment of the game than anything else.

Not getting a bite from the carrot from time to time and you starve.
Nobody wants the whole carrot at once - but not getting any carrot at all is plain stupid and boring.

Same problem as Diablo 3, you can grind 300+ hours and still having shitty gear (and he hasn't even played a 70+ map so he can't say he can play endgame content) or you can trade and get 100x better items but wasting 20+ hours in trade channels.

Both is NOT FUN. And in a game FUN is everything.
