Armour vs. life

I am amazed how much ppl overrated life stat.
I have a build with +80 to maximum life and +190% to maximum life AND +166% to armour. A am 4200 life and 14k armour with determination. And made some easy test. My belt with +96 to max life add me just 300 life. My 2k armour add me 9k armour. ... 9k Amour is 50% reduction Armour is a lot more amazing instead of life, especiialy if u have good resist. Armor and life aren't mutually exclusive like most defense stats. They go well with each other.

Yeah, but your 9K armor won't protect you in the slightest from elemental damage. Life will.
Armor is also overwhelmed by big hits, while life takes equal damage. Read my book! The world ending in every way anyone ever thought it might end, all at once. " Sure, ballance is better, but look my test, u can test too. Amour is better than life, in example i will prefer 2k armour and zero life than 1k armour with 100 life. |

Small physical hits are not the most likely thing to kill you.

Also why are you comparing life with armor?
Armor is a resistance and life is a pool of hit points. Also you seem to forget that physical isn't the only damage type in this game. IGN: Smegacore

I feel the big difference between 10k armour and 17k. I am almost immortal with good resists.
I was 17k and o man thge difference is so huge. But difference between 4k and 4.5 k life is not that larger. In any case u need at least 4k life. But i mean the armour is much more than life in any cases. And i reapet if u have good resists. There r only one map i cant do - torture map. But it is very weird. Higher hits of damage are reduced less by armor...
...50% Reduction makes you take 50 damage from a 100 damage hit...but like 9000 from a 9500 hit...(not actual math) |
