@GGG: Why do low level uniques (legendaries) drop at high level?!
Pretty happy with drops,
It's encourages me to roll new characters when I find a good lower Lv item. It allows for more sockets/links If kaoms was dropping every other day, we would all wear it, rendering all other chests useless/obsolete = no build variety Stay out of the shadows

Maybe one day there will be a unique that has an "interesting" perk:
- Only uniques with a level requirement higher than the itemlevel of this unique will drop for you. Of course, you need to obtain the damn thing at a higher level if you want to get lategame uniques, but the level req for this amulet or ring should be 0. Oh and throw some other perks in aswell, like a hefty chunk of - rarity (and no party rarity bonus for the player who has this unique equiped, so solo and party players are equal in terms of item rarity penalty) /end of an idea which may or may not be utter crap I'd love to get higher level uniques more often, but at the same time love ilvl 50s searing touch, quill rain etc drops... The variety is nice and that *unique drops sound and visual* get's me hyped everytime, wether or not it's the 5th Al Dhih for the week :P |

2 cowards trials =
had 4 of before i vendored the non 4 links. had 4 of before vendoring. 4 link off colour though!!!! such RNG wow lost count of the i've found, this was like my 5th i think? i've left 2 of them on the floor. i had at least 4 of before vendoring... 4 also. it's really boring, 95% of uniques are just complete trash and ofc doing 70 maps the items that come up unique mostly require level 1 for some insane reason. i'm not excited when a unique drops, sure i've found some nice ones for levelling but i've never found or chanced any unique that could be sold for more than a few GCP. " It is ok for them to drop in high areas cause of ilvl. For example, Quill Rain and Searing Touch you need them to drop in high areas to be able to do 6 sockets. I'm guessing cause different uniques have different drop rates. Drop rate on for example Kaom's Heart must be extremely low. It's probably better that way, even if it can be frustrating at times. Imagine if Kaom's Heart dropped as frequently as Silverbranch? Every user would have 5 of them. 177 Last edited by toyotatundra#0800 on Nov 22, 2013, 1:22:50 AM

I don't see a problem here. You drop unique, vine circlet just treat it as white vine circlet, which dropped vendor it for chaos orbs. You already getting more value then from white vine circlet. And this artifact is pretty good for minion instability witch or summoner scion saves alot of points travelingto pain attunement. Also you have wrong idea of that uniques have to be like rares but better,it is againstthis game's design manifesto, role of uniques is to give what nodes or rares can't give you.

Yea, unfortunately I think that GGG is under the impression that people are going to keep on rolling low level characters endlessly. I already have had enough of the leveling myself after 6 75+ characters.
I gave up on IIR/Q awhile back as there is no improvement that I have seen except more detritus to blind you. I dont even remember how many maps I ran yesterday but finally logged out when I finally got a unique drop and it was another Redbeak...today it was another crap cloth belt lol Honestly....whatever, they have there own vision about stuff and all you can really do is play till it gets stupid and move on. Too bad they dont get it, Loot=Fun, Fun=Interest, Interest=Microtransactions. So many scrolls, so little time...

GGG thinks that peasants will grind static content forever, in hopes that they can either buy OP uniques or get a lucky drop... guess what, eventually a player gets tired of chinese farmer simulation, if you dont give him a cookie from time to time.
GGG also thinks that trading can replace looting, ie. the excitement a player gets by finding stuff in an ARPG - which is by far their biggest fail in this game design. Trading is boring. Getting trash all the time is boring. Rerolling is overrated (spam EK, FP, LA, ST, RoA, Poison arrow, burning arrow... the gameplay is the same). Races are almost exactly the same as season 1, with same useless rewards (that get funnelled in a dumpster league nobody plays). The only really fun part of the game is maps. And that shyt is walled off behind trading too... -_- When night falls She cloaks the world In impenetrable darkness Last edited by morbo#1824 on Nov 22, 2013, 4:45:47 AM

" Exactly this. Me and my farming buddies are completely frustrated and prone to give up. It's a big design flaw that makes you lose interest. Too bad because there was a lot of potential. |
