@GGG: Why do low level uniques (legendaries) drop at high level?!

Dont call them legendaries you D3 traitor!!
Remember when players picked up their manald heals and Isenarth armors from inferno Baal runs without bitching on forums? pepperidge farm remembers

TL:DR: quit bitching.
Its kinda comforting to see I am not the only one with this problem. And seeing how many replies this caused in a short time, I think GGG need to take a look at this, and make some reasonable adjustments.
The same logic behind dropping a low tier item on a high level map with 3 top tier mods and another 3 1st tier mods (trash), or getting a top tier item with +5 life and +8 fire resist (trash). Thats how GGG wanted his game, and it seems they like it, identify 1000 items to directly vendor it (or use them for chaos/regal recipe) and, maybe, just maybe, you hit the jackpoint at 1001th and get an uber combination of mods on a top tier item. Most times frustrating as hell, I know ;).

So wait for D3 RoS and loot 2.0 + endgame to see if they fixed anything, Grim Dawn, or play another kind of games. Thats the only solution. I find extremly adictive to create more and more chars with different builds, I have 4 chars at +60 level on Domination lol, but loot system is too much under-rewarding and economy oriented, like we prefer to go supermarket instead of getting a reward after killing thousands of hard mobs...

So you want 6L searing touch and quill rains to become legacy? Because that's what would happen.

Their purpose for doing so is meant to drag the game's longevity of loot finding sadly.

Miss those days if you wanted to farm for let's say stone of jordan, you would farm at Andy non stop.

All the things I want to remember are in the places I'd like to forget.

This is getting frustrating. Began playing in late october, my highest lvl char is 63, my second is 43 or so. I have hit a wall for the second time in the game with my lvl 63, and can not continue questing. I need to farm to get better items, and a few more levels, and all I get is start level unique drops, at lvl 60+...

During my time in PoE I have gotten about 10 brown drops, 2 are lvl 32 (two of the SAME BOW!), the rest are lvl 0-10. Yes I know, the actual /itemlevel is higher, but that do not help much when items with level req of about 10, have LOW stats. So I either have the choice of using them for some special effect and have sucky stats, or not use them and have better stats all over, and let em rot in vault.

What is the logic behind this? Why are uniques that drop not even within 10, not even 20 levels of your actual level? Why do unique with 0-10 level req drop at level 50+ or even 60+? Uniques is what this type of game is about, they are powerful, and if you get one it should help out ALOT, as long as it is an item your 'class' can use. Games like this gets boring fast when 95% of all drops are useless (after about lvl 50 or so, most items are not better then what I already got) even uniques, and no, I have not traded at all.

So whats the logic behind this? Farm items for lowbies? Farm item for future AH selling? What? The way it is now is just plain frustrating. Yesterday I got a brown drop, didnt even bother to look at it right away, because getting used to they are useless start level items. And yes the item last night was yet another useless lowbie item.

Please, I love this game, but this is getting frustrating, and do not help on keeping me playing. And pretty sure I am not he only one frustrated with this...

I agree.

so you can have 6L items like
and destroy low lvl pvp tournies =)
Unique's are special versions of base items, every time a base item drops it has a chance to be the unique variant if a unique variant exists. So, if white item X drops it has a chance to be spawned as it's unique variant, which is why low level uniques drop in high level areas.
