Plea to devs to address the sexism

@simnel: Please stop writing that. If you don't know where it comes from, inform yourself. If you do know, shame on you.

Please do check again where in my posts I make a point of the hot, naked sexslave girls being chained to something, since you seem to be quite fixated on this whole bondage thing. :)
Dude, the phrase I bolded above is your fixation, not mine.
Why? They are hot (at least their bodies are), they are naked, they are girls, and since they are chained to something (while being naked!) they are most likely sexslaves. So hot, naked sexslave girls is nothing but an accurate description.

You are the one going on endlessly about rape, torture, violence, domination and whatnot.
it´s sad, that this bs even gets a ggg reply.

like many others i only saw the statues holding your health and mana globe after 100s of hours of poe. nice detail, i thought- then went back playing the game.

the OP threatens with $$$... ok!- if this topic only wastes one second of developer time that could be used to improve the gameplay, i´m not spending any more money in the next 10 years on poe just as a matter of principle.
If instead of these beautiful, half naked girls there were two black, gay, disabled, mentally gifted midgets, holding the spheres, no one would even dare to blame developers, as political correctness would be so strong with them.
Just a suggestion.

This thread is genuinely absurd. I pity people who get offended by such trivial things.

That assumption implies that the only reason a women could be a slave is for sex. That in itself is sexist and objectifies women.

edit:
There are both men and women restrained, tortured, and killed in this game. But by your logic the women were used as sex slaves first? You're the one who is sexist.

Meh, i dont see any sexism, all I see is 2 SUPPOSEDLY female forms chained up, but we all know they are just the 2 Transgender Succubi that were going around trying to do the local fauna and everyone had enough...dont let them fool you, justice was served.
So many scrolls, so little time...

Honestly, this thread from reddit today says it all http://www.reddit.com/r/GirlGamers/comments/1q6ry3/have_any_of_you_ladies_ever_been_excited_to_play/?sort=top
The topic is basically "games that were very exciting, but so off-putting from the sexism that you had to stop." POE is the most upvoted.

To add my own 2 cents, I really like POE, and I'd love to play it with my wife. She's tried, but being FORCED to look at 2 sexualized slave girls chained to her health and mana bar makes her feel uncomfortable. I can't blame her. Is this necessary? Could there not be an option for an alternate UI for people who are uncomfortable with the girls? It would be a very small thing, and it would be a clear message from the devs saying "Yes women, we care about you too, and want your business."

I shudder to think of the money we've spent on LoL, so I sincerely doubt it would be any different for PoE. It is obvious from this thread my wife and I are not the exception. Why say no to more people wanting to spend money on this game?

Kind words are really not enough at this point. "We don't mean any offense, this is just style, it's OK" will not bring women and couples back. Only action, and obvious action specifically aimed at rectifying some of the wrongs, will even have a chance at bringing people like us back to this game.

There does not exist enough LOL in the world for this post. Only in america are meanings of words such as sexism, racism, feminism, poverty, etc. completely lost on its people.
