Don't wear Path of Exile Shirts at Blizzcon :) Kripparrian was told not to

Reality is that PoE is the no.1 competition* to two of their products in the RPG space(WoW and D3), and one of their top competitors in a popular advertising platform (Twitch.tv).

You can still wear the shirt, but not while you're helping them promote their game (by choice I might add).

*maybe outside of asia since asia has some weird games

Not to paying customers you cant. Only to employees.

If any event can be attended by any member of the public by purchase of a ticket, that makes it a public event anyway and not a private establishment.

The private establishment rule would only apply if every person had to be personally invited.

Kripp was talking about the Hearthstone event which is invitation only. You can obviously wear a PoE shirt if you're just going to Blizzcon.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
Oh well, that makes it different then. I thought it was a ticket based thing.

The private establishment rule would only apply if every person had to be personally invited and the event was not open to any member of the public to attend without an invitation. Or if they needed to pay for membership.

Buying the ticket is also an agreement to their terms and conditions, if anything, buying a ticket binds you more to rules than no ticket.
Buying a ticket allows you guaranteed entrance as long as you follow their terms and conditions, it does not allow you to do fuck all.
ToS in the EU cannot over ride the Law. Plenty of lawsuits have been filed and won against ToS's some European countries.

By law, you are allowed to wear whatever you want, wherever you go within the EU, including any public event or service.

They can't but you also have no access to the event by law without buying the ticket. Also lawsuits can be filed at any time, the ruling however depends on the grounds of the lawsuit, discrimination f.e. Setting up terms and conditions within reason (f.e no shirts of competitors) is allowed.

As I said before, buying a ticket does not mean you bought a ticket to "do whatever the fuck you want".

The ToS lawsuits you are referring to were for example the ToS of Sony's playstation3 stating that the product will remain theirs even after purchased by the customer, which off course, by law, is impossible in the EU when you buy something so that is not within reason.

Choice of clothes is hardly doing 'whatever the fuck you want'

Wow, are you really holding a plate in front of your head? You still have a choice of clothes, but not allowing people to wear clothes of competitors is a rule within reason. You think that buying a ticket means that they can't refuse you entrance, well newsflash, they can and good luck filing a lawsuit which you will have to pay for because it was based on nothing.

Face it, you were wrong, accept it and move on, don't try to argue your wrong it makes you look foolish.
Lol at your opinion and incorrect belief of what is right or wrong. You havnt the slightest clue.

If you have a ticket, you have access regardless of what you wear. Refused entry is only possible in cases where you have to pay for access at the door.
