Convince me why Armor + Iron reflexes beats acrobatics.

I use bows without picking up Point Blank. While I have almost 15k EV (61% evasion rating), Acrobatics, Phase Acrobatics, Ondar's Guile, and 55% chance to avoid being chilled/shocked, I still fight from long range, and even kill off-screen when I have the opportunity. I even use bear traps to slow down bosses for a sec or two while using EA with EP+IBD+ chance to ignite to add a bit of DoT. Dominus is one of those exceptions that you have to fight close range because of a unique mechanic that GGG decided to introduce. Why should I pick up Point Blank for just one boss? Yes, I do more damage at close range with PB, but I avoid getting into point blank range.

I will just have to rely on Acrobatics while corrupt blood is out and running, and hope for the best his monster form does not kill me, and when corrupt blood stops running, I go out of the circle, and hit him from there.

What league do you run, do you use LL or LGoH, and how do you deal with teleporting or charging mob packs?
Expected nerfs:
- Spectral Throw [done]
- Scion Nodes [done]
- Scion dialogue [ggg plz]

I am in standard, and I use LGoH with Split Arrow. How do I deal with teleporting or charging mob packs? I throw traps around me, so they get caught up to my traps, and if it fails, I move out of the way since I got enough MS to move around quickly.

Ah. I run Nemesis, so I don't feel like I can afford the close-range vulnerability by missing out on Point Blank. ^.^

You are still going to be vulnerable, but it is understandable that you have to use Point Blank to kill second phase Dominus as quickly as possible. If I get hit and survive, he will be cursed with Enfeeble, but of course it will not make too much of a difference, still I have to use every resources I can to make it out of there alive. ;)

The perks of playing standard/domination is that you get test out your build to its limit. In hardcore/nemesis, you only want to live another day.
