Where all the exalts come from?

When I look out the trade chat, want some people very much exalts for some items. Some are maybe worth it, but some are just far from reality.
I just wonder where all the exalts come from? I play for a while now. In 60+ zones. I have not seen or found only one EXALT until now. So I wonder where the people have 50 or 100 (or more!) Exalts from? On the other hand, I just have to look at Google for "Path of Exile" and EXALT already and I get lots of sites that offer PoE orbs to purchase for cash. And just as many orbs seem to come here. Because the prices are usually beyond the reality. I personally think it's bad anyway, that there is no gold in PoE, because trading is therefore extremely confusing and is not very economical. What do you think, how come so many exalts and why the prices are sometimes priceless. And please, it's just a thought and a question from me. So don't flame and stay on topic! Sorry, my english is not nativ! ;-)

they might have come from rmt but each exalt must have dropped for someone somewhere. considering ive seen maybe 20 exalts drop in all my time playing its amazing to think how thousands exist in the economy.

All the exalts in the economy basically come from a 1% faction who plays almost constantly.

i found two i think. One was in closed beta on twilight strands as a level two. I used it on my first rare weapon.
didn't even get the achievement for using it..... Exile

" Me personally, 3x. On standard I have a couple of stacks of them. Just go for the chaos recipe then flip the chaos orbs to exalts. You'll have plenty if you play enough *shrugs Edit; You say you've completed 60x zones..i don't know if you've played many ARPGs but that is not even close to enough grinding to build up any kind of wealth. RMT sites will bot 24/7 for them. As well as GGG is at trying to delete bots, there will always be bots doing nothing but farming for currency.
And then you have the people that play for 12-18 hours each day, they are just bound to have more exalts than anyone else just by the sheer number of things they kill. And lastly the people that buy them from the RMT sites. Even if it sounds silly to you, there will always be people in every single game that if given the opportunity to buy an advantage, they will. |
