Unable to connect to patching server

-Go to properties
-Where it says target press space and paste this ''patching-server pathofexile.com:3724'' (no '''s)
-Apply
-Enjoy

This worked for me as well, it skipped the client, and went directly for the game.

I am having the same issue as everyone else as of this morning. I played fine all last night. ISP is Verizon FIOS.

Just had to use the fix right above this post. Thanks again so much guys.

Same problem to me this morning, but i had no windows firewall active. I tried to run poe as administrator and worked.

Windows 7.

I am having this problem. Tried the new shortcut but that did work.

Tried the run as admin and that didn't work.

hmm tryed to what this guy sad with the shortcut and the exe when im trying to copy past in patching-server pathofexile.com:3724 this im getting

As i wrote HERE, other mmo games servers are under DoS attacks in this right time, maybe is related.

I used the fix to get through the patching problem, now I can't get the game to connect to Log In Servers. I used the fix above get to the start up screen.

Having the connecting to patching server problem.

This is not an issue with my firewall or software blocking it.


I've had to hit load PoE a bunch of times and then it would finally load the game at login screen.

Then the login servers wouldn't connect. clicked it a few times, until it eventually got through.


This is NOT an issue with my local firewall. or anything blocking my network.

This is an issue with the Path of Exile servers.




Just exit back to login screen a few times and you'll notice.

"unable to connect to login server".


The only way to access your other characters is to log out??

This is a retarded way to design the game. I should be able to go back to my character screen without getting booted from the server.
