Unable to connect to patching server

I used:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile\Client.exe" --patching-server pathofexile.com:3724 and it worked perfectly thank you. Does mean though that I will be skipping the update phase from now on? |

" Yes it does, so when the next patch comes out, you'll need to remove that part. |

Im on a 3 man lan... my wife and friend are still in game. I got disconnected and now it says UNABLE TO CONNECT TO PATCHING SERVER. It is not a firewall problem or an admin problem.

Last night around 3:00 a.m. eastern time
For about 30 minutes, I would disconnect trying to enter an instance and be brought to the login screen with a fail to join instance error. I suddenly disconnect while playing, and when I try to restart PoE, I can't connect to the server (client doesn't start). ISP: Optimum Online Location: Edison, New Jersey No firewalls ever. After a few tries I got into path, and then had troubles actually logging in.

Last night I was playing just fine, now I'm trying to launch the game and I get the error "Unable to connect to patching server". I tried to modify the command line (patching-server pathofexile.com:3724), but this didn't help. Nothing changed since last night so is this problem on server side?

was having patch server problem so i changed the target and now i just cant connect.

had the same issue this morning, cauz of the windows update last evening i guess, it worked after i runned the game as an administrator

Was having the same issue, added --patching-server pathofexile.com:3724 to my target line and the game opens normally but I still was unable to connect to "America" Gateway. Connected to Europe gateway and it works fine... so sort of fixed? lol
