Minion Instability and fire/burning damage

Alright great, because I was wondering more specifically about added chaos since the skeletons reduce elemental damage by 50% but chaos isn't elemental. So if it affected their auto attacks and MI it would be pretty cool.
these are the only things that boots minion instabilities damage

Minion Instability is a keystone passive skill.

Damage can be increased by:

Passives
Minion Damage
Minion Damage and Life Leech
Minion Life
Minion Life and Chaos Resistance
Minion Life and Life Regeneration
Lord of the Dead
Gravepact
Grave Consequences
Necromantic Aegis - Any +Damage, +Life, +Fire damage, etc. enchantments will apply to the explosion.

Support Gems
Minion Damage
Minion Life
Fire Penetration
Concentrated Effect
Chance to Ignite (indirectly)
Increased Area of Effect (indirectly)
Elemental Proliferation (indirectly)
Increased Burning Damage (indirectly)
Previously the damage dealt by exploding Minions was not effected by a minion's own* Fire Damage or Burning Damage increases such as those provided by the Increased Burning Damage support gem or through Necromantic Aegis. This bug has since been fixed.[1]

*Minions never benefit from your passives or equipment unless specifically stated.

from the wiki, hope its not out of date or wrong

Adds Chaos Damage to hits made with the linked skill. For instance the chaos damage will be added to hits made by any attack skill or spell that hits, or hits made by things such as the area damage explosions from Fireball, Detonate Dead, and Minion Instability.
