PoE is unplayable from Greece and Italy since it was released due to lag and disconnects.
" That latency is because you traced to their US servers. Use eu.login.pathofexile.com to test for European server and if your trace goes through seabone.net, then probably you are suffering from the issue discussed in this thread. Bye |

" Yeah when a big part of Europe can't play your game it's obviously their fault. They should change ISPs, right? Stop being a fanboy, it doesn't help GGG nor anyone else (and that includes Softlayer). This thread is for people who have connection problems. If your connection is fine stop antagonizing others and get out. Last edited by otinanai2#4995 on Oct 31, 2013, 10:52:26 AM

" I could invite you to browse my post history and see why i'm entitled to get into this discussion before quoting me with random answers, but I know you won't do it. Also i guess from how you speak that you have no clue about how the internet works, so, please, refrain from pointing the finger and blaming anyone without any new evidence that has not been brought up here before. Anyway for those of you that contacted TI Sparkle, did they get back with any news? Did GGG contact them with the new traceroutes provided? We can't let this go silent... Hi guys, I'm from Spain and all my friends and I are having the same problem.
Right now I've lost a very valuable rare map for a client crash disconnection, after a very annonying lag-death. After several days having latency problems and disconnections, I'm totally tired. This is seriously enraging me. I supported the closed beta so (that's my opinion) I'm legitimated to require properly servers for the European region. Path of Exile is the best ARPG I ever played. It's completely a shame that I cannot enjoy it for technical issues. I'll say it only once: this is NOT an Internet provider's problem. Please, get European servers now. Otherways you will force the people to stop playing. Sorry for the bad English. |

day 9: 17:30 CET. It seems the situation has improved a lot. Normally PoE is unplayable after 13:00 but today the lagspikes only go from 100 to 150. Let's hope I didn't speak too soon.

" 1) They have European servers. They're located in Amsterdam. That is where you go when you connect to the European Gatway (eu.login.pathofexile.com). 2) The issues post in this thread ARE related to ISP. If you feel your issues are different, then you need to provide us a WinMTR trace that is capturing when you experience the issue. Instructions for this can be found in the Consolidated Technical sticky post at the top of this forum. I'd recommend reading the other sticky post here as well just for reference. 3) Please try to not place blame on things without having all the facts and information required to make that sort of accusation or assumption. |

" Please, would you support this claim with evidence? I've researched this issue extensively in the last 2 weeks, and I am sure enough it's related with a defective seabone.net node. If you are talking about connection drops (with proper clean traceroutes to the servers), instance resets, rollbacks or anything else not related to the topic, then this thread is not for those issues. We are trying to gather witnesses to forward to TI Sparkle so they can finally fix their problems and we can start playing again. If you happen to have issues playing the game, please include your WinMTR report so useful datas can be extracted from it. Bye Last edited by ThePlash#0157 on Oct 31, 2013, 12:48:16 PM

" The issues are the same as everyone in this thread: - LAG. - Disconnections to login. I will do the WinMTR report, but I'm sure that there is not any sense on doing it. Here the arguments (already told by other posts): - Italians, Greeks, and here Spaniards, all europeans having the same trouble. - The issues started at the 1.0.0 release. - All other games, applications, programs, are running correctly. - Sometimes when the game crashes to login, there is a queue because the servers are full. - The thing goes worst at hours when US players are ingame. - I have 50MB of bandwith. Seriously, very annonying that I have to explain such a common sense thing. Last edited by VeGaara#2502 on Oct 31, 2013, 1:08:40 PM
