PoE is unplayable from Greece and Italy since it was released due to lag and disconnects.
" They are not asking for your money, this is not the point. And is wrong to use it as a argument, cause this is the only really free to play mmorpg you can find around. The point is that this game is cool, but we can't play it. Is not a players decision to leave, they(us) are force to leave. So don't use this like a menace, is just a bad situation where no one have profit. |

Guys I got news about the VPN situation. I found a dev (I'm 99% sure it's Chris) in-game and asked him about it.
[me]: [chris] is playing PoE with a vpn bannable? [chris]: hmm it depends which [chris]: if it's one of those public anonymous proxies full of botters [chris]: then it doesn't go so well [chris]: but if it's your work VPN or something then it's fine Still, be careful with vpn+steam. |

" Your connection has major issues that have nothing to do with pathofexile, you need to mail this report to your ISP. It's also possible you have a bad cable since the problem starts right between your modem/router and your ISP. |
" So, they aren't asking for my money hence it's normal that potential customers are ignored also on simple things. Oh well, great marketing. I'm willing to pay for this game. I like it and I usually support good f2p, and I'm not making any menace, what I'm saying is that if the "support" is like this it's not a good idea of wasting your time trying to find a solution and waiting for the next problem to arise. |

" GGG does not own the internet and cannot magically fix issues which are not part of their equipment. |
Btw today seems better, i've played 30 mins without disconnections, and the lag was not huge.
" But GGG can move to a European host that doesn't suck. |
" Is not a fault of their server.... |
" Their host is based in us with data centers around the world. I highly doubt it "sucks", what you seem not to understand is that the problem is located in the internet backbone some of us happen to use to get to their servers. So, technically, the problem is yours. I agree on the fact that if it was mine software that's unreachable from at least 3 countries because a private company has a defecting node they don't care to fix, i'd probably let my lawyer give them a call to let them know about their accountability and asking who's gonna answer for my income losses. But that's just me xD Bye |

" Can you people read? I'm talking about the question I asked a couple of days ago that maybe could have put a patch to the big problem, that I know is far from their competence. Last edited by Noisex#4320 on Oct 31, 2013, 10:03:21 AM
