So where does GGG go from Path of Exile?

You are obligated to tell me.

1. Keep improving and adding content to this awesome game - like they are.

2. No. No, they're not.

Obviously you weren't here when I brought the entire game and servers crashing to oblivion through sheer force of will alone.

Path of Not Exile.

You play as a citizen of Oriath who is not exiled and you live your everyday life. You get exiled, you lose (preferably with a shot of you being the Dying Exile.)

Wouldn't it be more fun, if it was path of the Exiler.

you play as the one who exile people, think sim city, except you can get rid of annoying people, have a whore as your top scientist, and you live in a comfortable distance from desync which kills, and the general horrors of wraeclast...

GGG will work on PoE for many years. I don't think they are even thinking about another project at this point. They are a very small indie studio, this is not some multi-billion dollar mammoth machine like Blizzard.
Personally I'm just fed up with the fantasy theme. I'd say stick to ARPG genre, use the exact same mechanics just rebranded:

1. Near-future Cyberpunk
2. Post apocalyptic
3. Far future/Space

Implants, chips and upgrades instead of skill gems, robots instead of undead etc. Even the basic Str/Dex/Int stats could be the same, as could ES. Hmm, now I feel compelled to make a passive skill tree sci-fi style...

Act 4 then 5 then 6 then 7 then 8 etc ;D yaaaaay ^^
Existence is infinite, a weave of live and dead, beyond the understanding of the many mortal threads.
Embrace death to honour the lost, no fear in life no matter the cost. With one of all we are and all of one we trust, throughout past, present and future...... be just.
