There is absolutely no way to make it work.

To trigger equilibrium *you* have do make a hit that deals some amount of elemental damage. The only elemental damage you can deal with AoF is fire so EE would be the perfect way to screw yourself over. Totems and traps are still *you* dealing damage though a proxy, and summons are not *you* so there's really no way around it. Except playing with a friend that has equilibrium and deals some other damage type... or if we some day get a unique shield that gives elemental equilibrium you could use with necro aegis, that would be fun.

And cold mine doesn't deal damage anyway so it can't trigger equilibrium at all.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

how does increased projectile damage work with AOF ?

Edit": for example if you have 100dmg of each type(Cold,lightning,Physical)and 100% projectile dmg how would it interact?

Hi there, so I have a question regarding AoF aswell...
Im currently using IB on my marauder, mixing elemental (all 3) and physical dmg. Using AoF means that half of my dmg will turn fire dmg, but what happens with the other half ? Since keystone says "deal NO non-fire dmg", If i read correctly, that means only fire dmg will be used, trashing all 50% phys, light and ice dmg... is this correct?

EDIT: Harud kinda asked something im asking about.

what would be the true conversion with IB ?

phys dmg+AoF+IB >>>100% fire
>>>75% fire none phys
>>>75% fire and 25% phys (no sense to my sight since keystone says DEAL NO NON FIRE DMG, and as stated before, meaning ONLY DEAL FIRE DMG)

Something like that.

Infernal blow already converts 50% physical to fire, with AoF it would convert 100% physical to fire and 50% of all other elements, everything not converted to fire is lost.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

I have a question.

If for example, I want to use Ice Spear with AoF, would taking the Increased Cold Damage nodes increase Ice Spear's fire damage? (Because I want to take both Increased Fire and Cold Damage nodes).

Theoretically you could use summons + hatred/wrath aura and give your summons a relatively massive boost to damage at the cost of personal damage. But you'd have to evaluate what that means for overall damage output.

Quite my thought; still I ve been looking around passive tree and think i found a good build for a 2handed full phys IB marauder... will post for critics on Marauder subforum, ty for answer
Can you please return the phys damage sound effect for melee attacks with AoF? It gives you a really bad melee combat feedback when you hit monster and can't hear anything.
What is the advantage to taking Avatar of Fire? Converting all non-fire damage to 50% fire damage seems like a waste on the surface.

Does Avatar of Fire convert your minions' damage to 50% fire as well?

It increased my Infernal Blow DPS by 400 points or something like that, from some reason.
