kaoms and shavronne nerf?

1) GGG nerfed life and monster damage, and then did an experiment.

Do people still use life builds to great success without Kaoms to help?

Experimental result: Kaoms Heart was build-enabling to life builds.

Life builds were mostly ignored by successful players. Almost everybody goes ES at high end.

2) Logical result: buff life, nerf kaoms.

A single item should not be "build enabling" to running life.

3)

endless QQ on whether or not they make the current version legacy, nerf future version, or whatever.

You speak the truth about life vs ES. On onslaught and Anarchy it was pretty much ES, ES, ES, oh, and more ES. Freaking ES armors can get over 1k ES with tri ele resist, and they can also have 6L. I have enough currency to mirror the top one on standard if I chose to, but I am fed up having to be forced to playing a style of play I am not interested in. I almost always played a melee char on every ARrpg or MMOrpg that I have played. In all honesty there isn't even a true tank on this game. In about 90% of games I have played a true tank = Holds aggro, has low dps, but has high survivability. I remember using a char worth over 100 exalts on a lvl 77 map that was a tank... yea, let's just say that my archer that is worth half that blew the map out of the water hands down compared to a melee char worth double. If they are going to fix anything, they need to re-balance the whole deal with ES to Life. There's a problem when the majority of players were doing ES on the new leagues... so yes, you have a good point.

I agree. Honestly I think the main concern is to buff life to match es. Nerfing end game uniques is not going to solve anything. I guarantee the Nerf to hell crew will change their minds if they have a kaoms or shavronne drop

(200-250)% increased Energy Shield
+(50-75) to maximum Energy Shield on Full Life
10% increased Energy Shield Cooldown Recovery
+(30-40)% Lightning Resistance
Reflects 1-250 Lightning Damage to Melee Attackers
Chaos Damage does not bypass Energy Shield
Cannot use Shields on Low Life

Why on earth would anyone use it then? 250% + 75 = still less ES than a top tier Regalia, and with 2 less resists.

Unless you are suggesting 10% cooldown recovery (1 node) and 250 lightning thorns are worth 60-90% resists.

all these cries about Good uniques..... IMO remove every single unique in the game and dont implement and sort of Mods such as Chaos damage cant bypass energy shield, Cannot be frozen, Reduced mana % on gear, OR ANYTHINGthat comes on a unique. thats my 2 sense.
