Gotta get those financial funds, duuude.

for them to sell out they would need to have held whatever belief Wuv is projecting onto them. Did they? I didn't know GGG ever stated they were against making money. "sellout" is a term for idealistic teenagers.

Given all of the other stuff they can and could do instead of this, it seems like a rather odd move - of course, maybe this was the only option for them and they secretly feel a little dirty about it.

anyway, hopefully this is more a one-off than a sign of things to come. If more of this type of thing happens, then I am gone and so are the dollars I keep spending (that they apparently do not need or need way more than I am guessing).

As for the person who said a splash screen on login would be worse - did you just start gaming yesterday? I see NVidia logos on almost any game I play, but I don't see them in the game world itself! In the game world when there is no valid reason for it be there (advertising in a real life city of sports arena) is ridiculous.

Actually, why DONT they get an NVidia logo on login? Couldn't they get some free kit or money for that? Isn't that what all of the other comp devs do? I certainly didn't care that Metro (1 and 2) had splash screens on start up... Seeing a razer logo in the post-nuclear mosco metro would have been shitty.

As for the people that say to grow up, realities, blah blah blah - I don't see this sort of thing in the vast majority of other games, both big and small, independent and otherwise! And no, a few examples do not a case make!

They said that PoE wasw a f2p, online, hardcore ARPG that would stay a float based on moral micro transactions...

Also, I always love how some people get older, more jaded, and then label anything that doesn't align with that jaded world view as "idealistic" or "teenage".

My parents are baby-boomers and they are certainly not idealistic or teenage, and they use that term often enough - well, when the topic of convo would warrant it (artists they loved when younger that now have songs plastered all over corporate ads, when money isn't even an issue lulz).
I guess ill tap out and leave the exile community. Was a fun game while it lasted, and i'll perfer keeping nice memories off it.

I really don't want to see whats next, Coca Cola™ footprints, maybe we could get a Skittles™ gore effect, TASTE THE RAINBOW. Or maybe Nerf™ Gun skins for bows.

I do like it tough how apparently nothing is lost on the internet so lemme quote someone from GGG.

Brian_GGG:"Well, I think you'd see that we're pretty dedicated to the POE aesthetic. We're not going to be adding a bunch of shitty anachronistic *** to the game to sell stuff."

Whoops :3
Charan on prohibation? oh dear ...

i.hate.razor.footprints.

their hardware is shit, their design is shit and this logo has nothing to do with poe and does not fit as well.
as i saw them the first time i thought myself, damn, poe is going down the drain.
cant believe ppl using them. get some TASTE.
