Guild Wars 2 removed MAGIC FIND. Does POE need IIQ/IIR?

you clearly have not played a sporker with 350% MF and a boss explodes and it drops 10 rares and a unique

playing my melee characters righ tnow who can't equip andvarius rings is just STUPID when i can play a BORING sporker and roll around in items

Yes it is overvalued.

No you dont HAVE to have mf to find something

Playing as a melle can wipe maps faster than any range char can wipe a map(well exept maybe ranger)And is more fun also.

I HATE playing MY sporker who is clearly superior than all my melee characters combined because it runs with high IIR/IIQ

what is is so hard to understand that some of us do not enjoy balancing iir/iiq around quality/power in gear

clearly people are missing the point of WHY GUILD WARS 2, WHY diablo 3 are moving towards account based MF

It is good there are diffrent games with diffrent mechanics.
Not each game must have the same then any other. There are more opportunities, like I post few posts before (for example serversided weekly/monthly event with double rarity find or double exp for a short time, maybe an hour)

IIR limits your abilities by a lot. And I mean, a lot. How often do you see a melee character running a MF build. Oh, that's right - NEVER. It's always either the ranged character or the one that doesn't even directly attack mobs (*cough* sporkers and summoners *cough*). I am trying to get a decent ele wander running with IIR, but the cost of any decent gear that has IIR/IIQ is just plain ridiculous (not referring to andvarius.)

I'd be glad to see a complete change-around for MF in PoE. Not a removal, but a change.

I play life-based melee as my main. I balanced mf, survivability and clear speed. I can clear maps solo fairly fast with 200IIR. In group, I suck.
Now, look at those totems. They clear maps faster than me with much more IIR and better survivability. Easy.
Hurrah people who trying so hard to balance mf.

Guild wars is an mmo,nothing compared to poe

Now if you gonna compare D3 to POE,this is a joke,its not a move forward but backward.Thier logic is simplistic and dorky."give everything to anyone reaching that level".

I tell you again,you want something like that in a game where your CHOICEis everything and not something GIVEN because you reached a level cap.

Edit,what about a propostion? -100% rarity on totem skills,hjow does that sound to yyou?

I don't think many sporkers can survive maps while running high iir/iiq. They just farm docks all day every day until they are bored to death.

Edit: Now if your counter - argument is that they can when they get some imbaomgbbq gear then so can mellee.

Examples:




If you add a quality rarity and quantity gem that's 200rar/70quant right there.
3 items and 2 gems.
That's all it takes.
