Guild Wars 2 removed MAGIC FIND. Does POE need IIQ/IIR?

I would like to see MF stat removed from the game , increase the rarest items droprates ONLY = gg .
The problem is that characters in PoE are not balanced and IIR and IIQ are often not used by melee characters as much as certain ranged builds.

For example MF in D3 is no problem at all :)
IIR/IIQ/Identify Scrolls/Portal scrolls - are all pointless. IMO

A better version of IIR/IIQ is something akin to what D3 tried (gasp!) with the paragon system, if you want increased drop rates and a better chance at good items - base it somewhat off of skill, not off of how much you can stack and still manage to kill mobs (because what that does is force players to find the one build that doesn't need to actually engage with the game in order to succeed, to avoid combat at all costs - the sporkers of the world). How about you get an increase the more characters you have over 40? How about you get an increase for every 10 levels you gain without dying? How about you get a bonus based on how many mobs you can kill in a row under a certain time period? How about you get a bonus from fighting mobs ABOVE your level? - Lots of options that are all imo better than just stacking stats.

I know scrolls aren't on topic, but they are also pointless. ID scrolls were a good idea in D&D when you could put unidentified items on and suffer possible debuffs, all they are now (ID scrolls) is something that punishes new players and annoys old players - one has far to few and the other has far to many.

Portal scrolls are pointless as well, again it punishes new players and annoys the old.

Happy hunting/fishing
Please remove this useless stat so at the very least these threads can cease.

Or why not make MF stats not apply to what totems do?
MF needs to be removed in all forms.

all true, but PoE is a game designed to look backwards for fans nostalgically looking back at the glory days of D2. If GGG ever makes another game they should take into account your genius post
Dear GGG, please make Mac version

IGN: NNQQ, Sporkay, Rands_
Completely remove MF from game and implement quality parameter instead of IQ/IR.
I play GD from time to time, there's no MF, nor portal/identify scrolls and it's just fine.
