PoE Vs Diablo 3 new expansion

Regardless, Diablo 3 does suffer some terrible desync issues for mobs that have that affix that makes them move stupidly fast in Inferno. Often melee mobs under that effect kill me while they're far away and still in the process of approaching me.

Tis your experience I suppose. Cant call you wrong.

But not every marauder is the same. Yet every barbarian is.

I can't defend the really bad character building/diversity in D3.

But, my 3000+ hour, P100 (pre XP buff), self found, MP10 crushing, Barb still hadn't gotten the achievement to smash x amounts of objects with whirlind when I stopped playing D3 last year.
Nor did he ever use WotB, HotA or sprint (for anything more than a few mins here and there).

Sheeple gonna sheep.
Casually casual.

Beside all that "that content is bad" and "that's better than that" and whatever you should bear the fact in mind that Blizzard kills your characters:

11:45 pm in a horde of mobs: "You are disconnected from the server".. OH MY GOOOD.. dead anyway

One minute later, some other guys joined teamspeak and "Oh, we died, all had disconnect" "Ah, you as well?"

Half an hour later in the Blizzard forums: Blizzard flaming machine in their own forums with like 500 people which lost their chars at the same time. People from different countries, people with different providers and all they said: "The problems came not from our servers, there must be something wrong with yours."

Alright.
Same stuff 5 weeks later. Maybe they should think about implementing that as a part of a ladder reset.

I won't play this sh** until they get control about their whatever.. servers..

there was the same style of miniboss in Act II that did the same thing. If I recall correctly he telegraphed the attack in not only the same fashion, but there was a red glyph/circle on the ground in front of him to warn you the attack was coming and you could avoid it if you were fast enough.

Hmm, red circle, red circle... that rings a bell... ah, right! Saw that kind of thing in NwN online, I remember almost choking at the idiocy of the whole concept. Well, might have forgave it if the rest of the game wasn't an uninspired piece of multiple massive online excrement.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

But I can: Is character customization in PoE really as deep as you think? Almost any life based melee character mainly specs into life which is automated in D3 and can be specced into much more after the level cap with Paragon points. Life is better balanced in D3 and I'd rather pick 3 very significant and character changing passives instead of all those little 6% micromanagement nodes and pick skills without worrying about yet more micromanagement sockets and colors so I can focus on what it should be all about: Gear...

I don't call character customizion in PoE deep but annoying...

And that right there is the difference between a fan of poe v d3. If you ONLY care about gear, d3 is your game.

No builds to choose. No flasks to choose from. Just gear.

Best of luck in d3.

It's all about the gear and so should it be in PoE, like putting half of your point in Incr. life or energy shield is making the diversity so much wider. Man the true power comes from gear, your passives are only to support that and I think it is nitpicking.
The difference between playing an AR/ES build, which does/doesn't use CI, vs a HP/AR build that does or does not use RT vs, a crit HP/EV/ES/Acro build are all completely different.

The points spent creating these builds are not nitpicking
