High Level Map Boss Dmg Is Just Dumb

It feels like the ONLY way for GGG to make endgame map content hard to make the bosses do insane 1 hit dmg. No interesting skill combos, no ways to deal with or avoid the bosses strategy (cus there is none) its just hey can i face tank this bosses dmg or sit back and hit him from offscreen? no? then guess i better exit map cus if I cant tank boss dmg to the face i have no chance

feels like play CI or get 1 shotted

currently i have 3500 hp 18k armor 75 all res 3 endurance changes as i am attacking with 30% life steal and vaal pact

I get 1 shot by level 72 mine boss while hes got temp chains on him

the fuck game?

yea im mad i hate dying especially when i dont think i should

Focus less on your armor and get more health, bro. You are killing yourself.
Remember when I won a screenshot contest and made everyone butt-hurt? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
Try enfeeble rather than temp chains?
And use Enfeeble <oh...Muldeh has beaten me to it>

For this particular boss, consider using Sapphire Flasks, as armor won't help you against lightning damage.

And for him to oneshot you (even with only 3500 hp), was there some sort of map mod that you are not telling us about (+damage +ele damage, -ele res, ele weakness)?

In other words "L2P"

Says l2p and to use sapphire flasks for lightning dmg lol.

topaz flasks. Not sapphire.
<blush>

Fortunately I use "L2P-in-a-can" aka Kaoms's Heart, saving me from having to learn what all these flasks are for (except Quicksilver).

is Kaom's Heart really this overpowered?
my melee Marauder runs around with 77 ele res (unless I have a curse or "reduced res" map mod on me), all kinds of flasks, Enfeeble, Temporal Chains, Endurance Charges...
and I still get owned.

if you want to say "drop a Kaom, and you'll be able to forget all your troubles and casually run around with Quicksilvers" - I find that very hard to believe.
+1000 base life is powerful, but not THAT powerful.

Having 8k HP compared to 4K HP is a huge difference (obviously).
"Drop a Kaom, and you'll be able to forget all your troubles".

Yes, Kaom's is that good. The +1000 base life roughly doubles my life to 7K.

This also means that:
- I regenerate twice as fast (as it is a % of life)
- I hardly ever get stunned, and if I do it is a small hiccup (so I got rid of Unwavering Stance)
- I hardly ever get shocked
- I never get frozen (Alpha Howl)
- I don't care about burning
leaving only puncture as threat

My curse is Conductivity and I don't have Endurance charges. I have 77 ele res and -60 chaos res (another Kaom benefit, you just take Chaos on the chin).

I carry 2 quicksilver, 2 healing and one granite. Both healing and the granite are "staunching" (against puncture) and mostly used for that purpose. As I have ditched Iron Reflexes since the nerf and am running on a mediocre amount of Evasion, I will replace the Granite with a Divine Distillate when I get one.

My main defenses are Decoy Totem, fighting from a distance, Life Gain on Hit and doing a very proactive Sir Robin when necessary (hence the quicksilvers).

And I can use a fair bit of MF on my gear, as I don't have to focus on life/life/life.

If GGG ever nerfs my Heart, I have to L2P myself.

Uses Kaom's and Lightning Strike/Arrow.

Tells others to L2P.

Right.
