"Experience" as in "anecdotal" as in "I played an EV character once he sucked"

Just like the wall of text that followed this sentence then. See I can be retarded too.

Play evasion on hardcore, highest level maps, and come back and tell me I am wrong.
Currently working on it. And no, none of tha was anecdotal, it was all plain text interpretation of math.

Saying "Experience" means nothing. From experience I'm pretty sure everyone on the internet is either a total asshole or functionally retarded. Doesn't mean it's true.

Need real rigorous testing.

lol I played both, armor stacking proved superior. Care for someone vomiting a bunch of numbers when practice proves otherwise. Experience is everything, and applies equally to all areas of life.
The theory : nothing is working as intended but you know why.
The practice : everything is working as intended but you don't know why.
Some people combine theory and practice in a successful way : nothing is working as intended and they don't know why.

When you can use blind + armor stacking, evasion is an even worse idea.
Evasion+ blind scales equivalent to Armour+blind.

There's no effective difference between the two in terms of gains. Only in terms of how large hits are. Which is a meaningless statistic outside of OHKO scenarios.

armour and blind is far superior overall, especially if block is involved too

That's correct. Tempest Shield + Blind + High Resist + Life Leech can almost make you unkillable.

Not only are you blocking and evading but you also have high damage migration. Combine with life leech it gives you a large margin of error.

Overall Blind + Tempest Shield makes a pure evasion build worthless. Why? Invest in a good shield with high block + Tempest Shield Gem + Blind. You don't have to waste skills points on dex or evasion nodes. So what you have is a high avoidance and high damage migration without the need to invest in evasion.

At 50% shield block you should be able to tank anything that doesn't one shot you as long as you can leech your life back.

Yeah I am making a cyclone build based on this, you dont need US anyway so blind all the way. Max block / spell block, TS + blind, IR + armor, 7 endurance charges, enfeeble as main curse, life leech and regen.
