Evasion vs Armor : some feedback

My eva char works best with LoH, not LL. You need to bring your health to full ASAP. I know with high LL you can do it, but requires a bit more work with the gems. I also found a 16% LoH gem with with my .22 attack speed from frenzy charges does a nice job of bring me to full in an instant. Plus, LL only works once you take damage and requires time to bring to full, whereas, LoH is instantly applied.

Also instant heal life potions are way better then over time...

I would need to reroll in order to use LoH, because my attack speed is not great, even with Multistrike and Frenzy charges :/

When you can use blind + armor stacking, evasion is an even worse idea.

As far as "some bosses do lots of damage"

Armour is equal to a Virtual flat HP bonus of Armour/12 for arbitrarily high values of damage. If you have less than 10k armour your armour value is effectively insignificant against high damage enemies, it starts to become significant around 12k (a 1k virtual health bonus) though even then your real survival is coming from ECharges/Enfeeble/Block in that order.

Some very very simple basic information:

12 Armour is 1 Reduced damage on arbitrary dmaage values (excessively large hits)
Evasion Scales multiplicatively with Echarges, Armour scales hyperbolically
Evasion scales hyperbolically with Enfeeble, Armour scales exponentially
Against groups of average monsters there is no effective difference between Armour and Evasion survival, accounting for inherent play differences
Against arbitrary damage values Armour has the benefit of virtual HP, Evasion has the benefit of long-streak evades

Just because an evade character takes larger damage form a boss does not mean they are less safe against that boss. Unless it's perpetus. Run away form perpetus faster.
