Actually. The core gameplay is where D3 really shows how bad it is. It is so terribly bad designed.

Yeah, so horribly designed, that's why you rubberband (and NOT desync) like crazy, which if you read on Developer Manifesto, is specifically what GGG is trying to accomplish.

it's somewhat ironic that in D3 people did nothing but complain about rubberbanding, but in PoE you desync, which is 100000000 times worse, and the developers are like "yeah we are trying to make it so you rubberband more instead of desync"

that was pre-patch dude, do you even diablo? diablo 3 was decently fun when inferno was fucking hard as shit, but they nerfed it so bad that any casual can go through it.

not sure what prompted this. i was just pointing out some hypocrisy.

i prefer path of exile. thats why im here, posting on these forums, and not over on blizzards site or playing diablo 3.

no game is perfect though. i dont think im doing some sort of "wrong" by pointing out technical aspects in which d3 trumps PoE. its not like their respective budgets are equal.

and i dont think im doing some wrong to PoE by pointing out that d2 is way better than poe.

its not really a fair comparison either, considering how much more developer hours d2 has had to be what it is.

it is what it is, though.

if there was still top quality new content coming out for d2, i would still be playing it. but even the best ARPG ever made gets old when theres no new content for many years.

I think that POE should have certain uniques drop from certain bosses like d2. Also please add hostile button.

D2 > PoE because of dueling and the freedom to create separate pvp communities spontaneously, arena structure is D3 = really freaking bad, stay away from D3 mentality!!!
