Typical casual player who doesn't want to use his noggin and reflexes and skills to overcome difficult monsters, but instead wants to alter the rules of the game mechanics to make build decisions simpler and to slow down the game.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

so each hit of yours does 344 max damage only? lol
Please for the love of god don't make reflect anymore broken than it already is. Why do 90% of the builds in the game not work? REFLECT. Plain and simple. Remove Vaal Pact and literally everyone and there mothers will be running totems because it's the only way not to kill yourself.

How about we fix the reflect mechanics? Vaal Pact will be nerfed without ever being touched, then it will be taking sparingly rather than because you have no choice.

When a passive is being taken on almost all builds, there's a reason for it and it's not because Vaal Pact is too powerful.

Vaal Pact is not taken just for reflect.... I hope you know this. If reflect were removed, the same builds like discharge, crit dagger shadow, etc would still take vaal pact.
evasion + block = lol reflect

evasion with high accuracy / RT / lioneyes = reflect still hits you most/ all the time

another reason why block is the superior avoidance technique out of the 2
this has been discussed so many times omg. but as we see with the coming exp-loss change there just needs to be enough naggin'

for me it would be much nicer if reflect relates to your hp/es pool. meaning, you get a big hit first, at maximum two hits. this should be a buffer till u realize whats going on and can start countermeasures. as of now and always, this instant oneshot-explosion-selfkill is just a bad choice of gameplay. imho. (not to metion it is still bugged in many ways)

the shock effect and pace-change from reflect encounters would still be there if the reflect hits you one time for say 90% of your life/es or two times for 40%, whatever, you get the point.

Fascinating.

Nice flame.

Personally, I prefer to fight against a tough monster than a cardboard cut-out with zero AI and "reflect" attached to it, which basically means I'm fighting against myself.

So instead of fighting against something that offers a challenge, it's just something that takes a hefty amount of theorycrafting to ensure that your build is "self-proof" while farming, so when you encounter the cardboard cut-out monsters with the wrong affix, you don't kill yourself in 1 - 3 hits.

Why it would be the case that one of the most common forms of death is to kill yourself rather than to be killed from monsters...That is another question.

I suppose if I lived in Wraeclast, I would probably kill myself too.

Hey man, you're the one claiming that reflect is some sort of fun, interesting mechanic, not me.

That means you're the one that has to justify the comments, not me.
