Create an orb!

why not orbs like:

orb of fire
adds x-x fire damage to the magic or rare item it is used on, as long as it has not maximum mods

and like an orb for every mod there is.

besides that i really want an orb that transforms the item to it's next higher tier level.
like Bone Armor becomes Crypt Armor.
Orb of the Enlightened:
- grants 1 skill point (rarest)

Orb of the Impatient:
- grants 1 skill point but only if character currently has under 100 skill points, Orb of the Enlightened can no longer be used on this character. (uber rare)

Orb of the penitent:
- Character loses all skill points gained through Orb of the Impatient, but can now use Orbs of the Enlightened (tied for rarest)

Orb of the Phoenix
- Applied to armor, If a character would die, it is instead sent to town, and all experience progress is lost toward the next level. All equipped items and gems are destroyed. Effect disappears after use. (uber rare, hardcore mode only)

Vulcan's Orb
Converts 75% of All Elemental Damage to Fire Damage

Orb of Disorder
Converts 50% of Physical Damage to Chaos Damage

Orb of The Phoenix
Can randomly respawn character in exact spot of death, but at the cost of all Exp. Cast as an Aura.

Fortuna's Orb
Can randomly create any item. Including gems, armor, weapons, accessories, and currency items; Within any level range, and any rarity.

...narf
Orb of Confusion:
when activated, causes anyone nearby to become confused and disorrentated, unable to think clearly or focus. (cookie to those who get the reference)

Orb of Clutter: does nothing but take up space in your inventory, flagged as a quest item, so cannot be moved to stash, nor destroyed.

Orb of orbiting: makes a number of orbs circle around the character, similar to endurance/frenzy/power charges, but has no real effect.
Craftsman's Orb:

Upgrades a normal (white) item to its equivalent item of the next tier. Resulting item has the minimum required item level for its base item type.

I'm not 100% sure on the wording, but it would upgrade for example a Short Bow to a Grove Bow, and a Grove to a Thicket.

Would have to be pretty damn rare orb, just about exalted rarity.

Fletcher's Knife

Improves the implicit values of a target quiver additively. This item is more effective on a normal item, and less effective on an item of increased rarity.

What I'm thinking is each use on a white quiver can add 4-8 additional damage to damage quivers, each use on a blue can add 2-4, and each use on a Rare/Unique can add 1-2. Maybe 8/4/2 dexterity to Light Quivers. Benefit would probably need to cap at 12-24 damage, and 24 dexterity respectively.

This would probably need to be relatively rare, as that extra damage can be pretty significant. Probably about as rare as a Chaos Orb (bit more than a whetstone)

Double redundancy orb of double redundancy orb: takes something that is redundant, and doubles it.

Orb of Sphericalness: doesn't do anything, but it is very, VERY round.
Craftsmen Orb

Reroll the required stats (str, int, dex)

no stat on item = no reroll

Orb of Copying

Copies the mods from one item and transfers it to another.
Weapon mods can't be transfered to armor and vise versa.

I like this idea, especially the item level aspect.
