IM So over the broken rng in this game....

75 fuse later still cant 4 link my gloves

makes no goddamn sense to me

if i was a self found player how could i ever hope to achieve 4 links on a glove that wasnt found that way?

pretty stupid imo......

basically what this game is teaching me is that orbs are for trading and not to be used
which kinda defeats the purpose of the orb system imo

guess ill stop wasting my time trying to use the orbs as intended and just trade them

And at the same time, you can 5L with 3 (done that). And fail to 4L with 60 (done that, too). Take it in stride.

The more orbs you use on gear the better your 'crafting ability' should be. The higher the 'crafting ability' the lower the ultimate cap on fuses to successfully link items would be.

Only 75? There's nothing "broken" about that. What is broken is the understanding of what the letters RNG stand for. If you use 2000 fuses and still don't get that 4 link there's still nothing "broken" about the RNG.

The only way to resolve your issue is to change your expectations to match reality. The R in RNG stands for Random. Take that in, understand it - no more upset!

Also, I 6Linked with 3 fuses once. Jeah.

no more dumping fuse and jewelers into items for me

and having to use 20000 orbs on ANYTHING is stupid imo sorry
for anyone who isnt stupid rich 2000 fuse orbs is insane
the simple function of rng in this game encourages many users to spend money on orbs because there is simply no other way for them to obtain the amount needed

yes i understand RNG yes i know random is random
but there is a point at which it just becomes dumb
and that point has been reached with me

75 fuse was a lot for me to go through maybe 2000 fuse orbs is a drop in the bucket for you but for me that 75 fuse represented a week of trading and farming and im pretty over it

The extreme RNG wouldn't bother me so much if the trading wasn't so terrible.

OP, you aren't alone, a lot of players feel the same way, myself included. I'd love to do some crafting and try to make some cool gear, but the risk is just not worth it. It took me two weeks to save up 500 JO to socket my bow, but they've just been sitting in my stash for a week because I don't even want to use them. As much as I want to upgrade my bow, I know I'd be better off using them for trading. Its a shame to have such a deep crafting system that a lot of players can't/don't want to use.

or 1000 jewelers to get sockets
