3) Magic Items with 6 sockets linked with all 3 colors. Buy them and resell them for a Divine Orb (Very valuable).

That's horrendously bad advice (unless i'm misunderstanding). If you find a 6 link item at the vendor absolutely do NOT sell it back for a Divine Orb when you could sell it on the trade forums for 40+ GCPs (20 Divine Orbs) depending on type/level. A 6 link item is one of THE most valuable items in the game.

Oh no, this guy has unveiled the secret of chromatic supplies and I have so far earned all my GCPs by trading them... (just joke)

I do agree you should never sell 6 sockets with 3 color linked item back. in my personal experience even 6s items are very rare to find in the vendor and I guess he is just talking based on theory rather than his own experience.

And I will add my tip:

-since you have drop rate penalty if your char level is 2 more than area level, it is usually better to control your char level by suicide if you just wish to farm.

-when you are in normal difficulty, death is a quick and easy way to refresh all your flasks and life/mana if you are close to a waypoint.

-you can always rely on minion summoning/totem to scout, and thats nearly a common sense if you play HC.

-if you are playing multi chars at the same type, you could develop a common shortkey allocation mode for them, e.g. always set q and w for auras.

-you should always keep at least one aoe skill in your shortkey slot so that you can quickly open some containers like those pots in the pyramid.

-if you can not identify foe or friend in a skelly war, you can try cursing to mark the targets for yourself.

-when you have joined a new public party and cannot tell which tp is the fresh one, just try the one opened by party leader.

¥· You can equip a 2nd Weapon and Shield. You can switch to these and use Auras on them and switch back to your main weapons. The Auras will stay active. Also, Gems in these will still level up even if you are not using those equips.

I hadn't figured that one out. Thanks!
Most people know that monsters from 2 levels below you give no experience point penalty. It is also true that you gain no bonus from monsters above your level, regardless of how much above.

However, any monsters of level 56+ will never give you an exp penalty. In other words, you could fight level 56 monsters at level 70 and get the same exp as if you were level 58.
In a very grind heavy game the death penalty equates to...more grinding.
Thanks for the feedback! I was unaware how rare 6 sockets actually was. I have edited the post with that change as well as added some of your Tips with credit to you. Thank you!

No, no! 6 LINK (6 socket item with all sockets linked) is very rare and valuable. 6 Sockets is fairly common and usually selling to the vendor for 7 jeweler's is as much as you'll get (with a few exceptions).
A small but rather important tip - chests and pots actually can drop very good items. I found my first Mirror of Kalandra from a boulder, actually. Which ever dummy hid that under there was an idiot :P
