Claw Bloodseeker Build Brainstorming

3% mana leech here.

By the way Cudez, why do you choose to dual wield Bloodseekers instead of using a higher DPS claw on the offhand? Since only your main hand Bloodseeker is ever used to hit, with Double Strike.

Yeah, 3% is on the edge of not-quite-enough, that or it's capped out and I need a larger mana pool.

I just face tanked Piety. Killed a couple of ice portals while she was talking, stood there and wailed on her regular and fire forms. Sometimes with a few extra mobs attacking me too. Level 63, about 5k armour, 1.8k HP. Straight up face tanking, because if I can survive one hit I can survive the entire fight.

I'm happy about it.

I was going to change to high dps offhand later when there will be proper claws available (something with 300dps). At the moment im going to have to live with the abit lower damage and get some benefits of having 9% life leech.

But good point anyways. I didnt realize that Double strike hits only with main hand.

You could go dual strike... Double strike works good with a shield though.

@Cudez - do you use warlords mark to keep up with the mana or just spam flasks?

Yeah, why actually Double strike and no Dual strike? Double strike better atk speed (= more leech)? Does Dual strike get leech from both weapons or just mainhand?

I really like the idea of using zealot's oath with the claw to bypass the downside of vaal pact, however you have no % life per second passives from the tree. I don't feel like the odd +2.1 regen per second from gear justifies that point alone.

Very good point actually. If I'm going claw + shield I'd pick up the shield nodes on that side of the tree anyways. But with 2 claws, it might not even be worth to go to the left side of the tree at all (although body & sould is very nice)?

That is correct, but I wouldn't take VP if I'd use the bloodseekers...

Hey OP, just wondering if you've seen Exalton's Bloodseeker Shadow? It looks very strong and is currently facerolling invasion.
